Every saturday is treat day in our house, its the day where we normally have a sweet treat after lunch from the bakery. Its become a family affair where we take a trip down there and let the children choose, its normally just a ginger bread man, or a marshmallow caterpillar biscuit. I normally stick in a raspberry and vanilla danish or a raspberry turnover for myself!
Dinner time is normally something naughty, it could be sausages with homemade chips, or homemade pizza, an dthen instead of the normal mini milk ice lolly after dinner, I normally buy one box of these little beauties…
I found them by pure chance and Moo loves them (so do I) I have spoken about my love of Oreo biscuits before, and if you love them too, you should really give these a try! (They are actually on offer at the moment so Ive been sneaking 2 boxes in the trolley!)
This is just a simple family tradition thats simply an ordinary moment….
I am linking up with the lovely Katie at Mummy Daddy Me for her wonderful linky The Ordinary Moments
Resistance is futile – I am weakened by the reference to Oreo cookies and now have to go shopping – at least it’s Sunday so I’ve got to wait until they actually open rather than acquiring a little something for a very decadent breakfast!
Hahaha! I am ashamed to say I have only actually found out about Oreo cookies!C(well within the last few months or so) where the hell have I been?!?!? I feel like Ive been locked in a cupboard for my whole life!
Yum! Have you tried Oreo Cadburys chocolate? That is AMAZING! If you haven’t then you need to go to the supermarket right now and get some! I love family traditions, we have lots of our own in our house and they bring some routine and structure to our lives that both we and the children enjoy. X
Oh god yes! Its just yum!! its like sin in our household, and does not last long at all! I wish they did it in small bars, as much as I love the big bars sometimes it can be a bit sickly 😉
I completely want to adopt this tradition 😉
Haha, Its a must 😉
Very scrummy indeed – came over from Katies blog x
Thanks for popping by x
