This week has been rather awful if I am honest. G woke Sunday night with her head in the sink and we hardly got any sleep as she was sick every 20 minutes! It was a long night and by morning she was totally shattered and worn out. It didn’t take long for H to get it and for the first 3 days I had them at home. It wasn’t to bad, the rushing around was not missed at all! They are now all better and we are back to our normal routine! Whats is even better is, its Friday AND had term! Yippee.. Here is what I have been loving this week..

I am really enjoying Behind Closed Doors and can see myself finishing it this week. Its a really easy read. I have been reading a few chapters a night and I am really intrigued on how its going to pan out! Its definitely worth a read if you want something easy to occupy your self with.

I am still yet to watch last weeks The Secret {ITV} I will catch up over the weekend. I have mainly watched kids TV this week. Its been a bit mind boggling if I am honest and I was thankful to have my TV back on Wednesday! I have caught up with the usual, Greys finale {which was unusually calm} Nashville {I am yet to watch the finale – I just caught up on loads of episodes!} Coronation Street {Tracy is a cow!} and my favourite 24 Hours In A&E!

I am absolutely loving this song. I heard it on YouTube advert whilst watching something and its stuck with me this week. One to add to my Spotify list!

For the best part of the week both me and the kids have been in our pyjamas. As I said earlier we have {or they have} been quite ill this week. G was hit first and H came home from school and was soon laid up on the sofa with his sister! Not nice and not very pleasant. Goodness knows how I or even Mr B managed to escape it!

I have not made anything this week. With the children being ill I have made bland food. In fact I starved myself Monday and Tuesday as I was so paranoid I would get it! I am tempted to make a cake at the weekend. Mr B is working so I was going to fill my time with baking!

We made plans for our house makeover! How exciting!! We are hopefully going to start VERY soon and I cannot wait! We have been in the house 2 years this year and have only managed to get the garden completed and a bathroom finished. I cannot wait to make the lounge ours and completely give it an overhaul. I am looking forward to PROPER flooring and lovely soft carpets upstairs!

‘And lastly..’

We have nothing planned this weekend. Mr B is working both Saturday and Sunday and after the hellish week this week of sickness I am planning to take it easy. Bank Holiday is supposed to be awful weather here so we are still in limbo of what we are actually going to do!

Have a lovely weekend!

It’s awful when kids are ill. Glad they are all better for half term. I haven’t seen this weeks Greys yet and I had no idea it was the final. Your house renovation plans sound great. We’ve been in ours coming up to 18 months and have done lots but still lots untouched. We’ll be having a break now though as I know I will not want the upheaval once the baby is here.
