Last year I started a linky called For The Love Of. It was basically a weekly round up of blogs, vlogs, instagram and TV that I was loving. I have decided to continue with the basis of the linky, but have now changed it to monthly posts. The TV section I have taken away from the linky and I am having it as a stand alone post every month. A round up of what I have been watching through-out the previous month. I really hope you get some inspiration on some good TV to watch. If you have any recommendations then please do leave them in the comments below as I am always on the lookout for new programmes to watch! So without too much waffling, this is what I have been watching this month!

We are 14 seasons in with greys and its one of my most favourite shows, EVER. I was so late to this series and only started watching it within the last few years. I have already watched the entire collection twice through and am tempted to start again once season 14 is over with. Its definitely binge worthy TV and something you can watch over and over. If you have not seen it, here is a brief bio on what its about.

The medical drama series focuses on a group of doctors at a hospital in Seattle, including several who began their careers at the facility as interns. One of the doctors and the show’s namesake, Meredith Grey, is the daughter of a famous surgeon. She struggles to maintain relationships with her colleagues, particularly the hospital’s one-time chief of surgery, Richard Webber, due to a pre-existing relationship between them — Webber and Meredith’s mother had a personal relationship when Meredith was young.

Obvioulsy as the seasons have gone on, its shown how Meredith has grown as a doctor, taken in love and dealt some devastating blows. Its such a good drama and I would highly recommend it if you have not seen it already.

This show makes winter. Its currently on at 8pm on a Sunday on BBC. Again this was another show I was late too. I think its because Miranda Hart (who I love) ruined the idea of the format for me. I expected it to have a comedic value as thats all I saw Miranda in previously. So I refused to watch it. Everyone raved about it and I felt like I was missing out. So Found the first two series and watched them back to back. I am so glad I did, because its such a heartwarming drama.

Adapted by Heidi Thomas from the best-selling memoirs of Jennifer Worth, this drama series is a moving, funny, colorful look at midwifery and family in 1950s East End London. It follows newly qualified midwife Jenny, who joins an eccentric, lovable community of nuns who are nurses at Nonnatus House. Jenny is surprised to find herself at a convent — she thought she was being sent to a small private hospital — and is initially daunted by her surroundings, most notably the formidable Sister Evangelina and the unconventional Sister Monica Joan. But Jenny gradually begins to find her way and develops incredible friendships among the nurses, as they are drawn into the lives and homes of the women and families they treat.

I didn’t think they could carry it on once Jessica Raine left, but they have kept it going and its still something I really look forward to watching on a Sunday. The cast is fantastic. Have you watched it? What do you think? If you haven’t then its available on iPlayer!

Like everybody else I bloody loved season one of Marcella. I was so eager to catch the first episode of season two when it started last week. I’ve got to admit, I was pretty disturbed and a little lost with the chopping and changing of storyline. I am interested to see where this series takes us. Its panning out to be a good series, so much was packed into episode one! I won’t give too much away. You definitely need to watch season one if you have not already! I added a recap of season one {it contains spoilers – if you have not watched it already}

Former London detective Marcella Backland is devastated when her husband leaves her and their two children. He is head of Legal Affairs at DTG Construction, property developers effectively controlled by the Gibson family. When Marcella is visited by a senior detective on the murder squad seeking information regarding an unsolved, 11-year-old case of a serial killer who seems to have become active again, Marcella returns to the murder squad. She enters a world of online dating, prostitution, and the dubious dealings of her husband’s employers while trying to save her marriage.
