weekly favourites | two

I already seemed to have broken my goal for 2019. I wanted to post this little feature up weekly and already I am one week missing. Im not entirely sure what went wrong. We had an extremely busy weekend last week trying to get the kitchen finished. I just forgot to schedule a post. But I am here this week reflecting on the week. Without too much waffling and dwelling, here are a few of my favourites this week.

Cosy Evenings

This week has been bitterly cold. From the moment I leave the house in the morning I cannot wait to be walking back through it come evening. I received a really thick homemade blanket from my mum for Christmas and its perfect to snuggle down with when the children are in bed. The weather has dropped considerably in temperature and its only going to get worse according to weather reports. I have plenty of cosy evenings to look forward to over the coming weeks.

This week has been a good week for Gracie and Henry. There relationship is typical brother and sister. We deal with a lot of arguments on a daily basis. But this week I noticed just how well they can get on if they try and forget about all the bickering. Its been nice to watch the relationship grow this week and its also been really nice to have less arguments.

This week has been all about the walking. I am pretty impressed with myself that I actually get out every training day. I have struggled but I have been really enjoying the fresh air. I managed to do an early afternoon walk one day this week and watched the sunset. I took Fleur with me and It was beautiful and it gives me the motivation to get up and get training. If it means I can watch the sunset, then why not?

Kitchen completion

The kitchen is complete. I am so so pleased with the final look. Its better than I could ever have imagined. I have gone on about it for quite sometime on the blog over the past year and finally I can stop! I seem to spend all my time in there now. Definitely my favourite room in the house. The kitchen table has bought us altogether for dinner times and its really nice to spend time as a family over dinner.

Now you’ve got to do the blogger thing and do a room tour showing off your new kitchen 😉 I can’t believe you’ve been out walking in this weather. The sun is lovely and rather deceptive, as soon as you step outside it’s absolutely freezing isn’t it! Hope you have a great week x
