The Week That I Captured 12/13/52

I didn’t join in last week {smacks wrist} I wanted too, but I had such a busy weekend and I just didn’t have time to fit in any blog typing, plus Its been nice to just have a little break from it all!

Week 12 was a write of, Moo was ill, I was ill and its amazing that nobody else came down with anything.. I was pretty pleased to wave goodbye to it, it was a really busy week as well which didn’t help..

Anyhoo, without to much waffling this is what else we got up too!

Today we spent the morning in the garden, we planted all our plants we bought on Saturday and gave them some love, we then decided to go back to the garden centre as we needed more fertiliser for my Acer tree. Whilst we were there we bought two more plants and pots for the front garden {if you can call it that! its just a bricked driveway!}

We watered the garden which ended in a disaster.. The hose kept coming away from the fitting and it happened about 6 times, which meant I got soaked!

We had a cheeky McDonalds for dinner as we had been smashing the driveway up ready for its repair..

With Moo and H at school and play school me and the Mr decided that rather than doing a repair job on the driveway we would just white stone the area that we were going to repair. When we moved in there was a huge bush which we took down so we could fit two cars on in front of the house. It left has with a semi-cirlce mud pit. The Mr was going to continue the driveway right across but we decided for now it would be too much work so we went with the easier option of stones! {nice stones!}

Later my mum came over and looked after H whilst we took Moo swimming and we had to make another trip to B & Q for some more stones..

I was not feeling great today, the after effects of a migraine were still with me and I just wanted to go back to bed!

Mr B went back to work and normal duties commenced. Moo was a bit reluctant to go to school and when she is like it I just want to pick her up and run away!

I went to my sisters a day early as it was my nephews birthday so I needed to drop off his card.

I spent the morning doing boring mundane house jobs..

H went to play school in the afternoon and I had to go and pick a few bits up for Moo, she needed to wear a hat at school on Friday and I wanted to make an easter bonnet, only to get home and find out the bonnet didn’t it!

I did buy some Snowballs, they are my all time favourite and I may have indulged myself in half a packet..

I didn’t do anything today! I literally did the school run, returned and sat on the sofa. I made myself some dippy eggs and I ate them whilst watching catch up TV.. Was a nice peaceful 3 hours!

I had to be at the school early as Moo was putting on a performance with the rest of her class. We got home for her to have a melt down, I think this term has done its course and she is so ready for the Easter holidays {me too!}

I was so busy today! I had to drop Moo at school, then drop H at play school, to go back to school to sit in on the assembly. I then had to go and pick H up early for an easter egg hunt! I was back and forward like a yoyo! Moo had a church event and although I do try and do all the things that the school lay on, I find it really difficult with H and keeping him 1. still and 2. quiet so I missed it which is a shame, she wasn’t doing anything, it was just an Easter service but still would of been nice for her to see me there!

I spent the whole morning day sorting through the children’s toy boxes, I hate it when they all get muddled with toys that are not supposed to be in the allocated box! Mr B spent the day cleaning up the driveway which is looking rather nice now! We had our doubts but its looking good.

The children were really well behaved considering the Mr and I were pre-occupied with other bits! A sausage and mash tea and an early night in front of the TV was had!
