Sunday Favourites | Week Four

Hello Sunday, I’m back with another weekly favourites of things I have been enjoying this week. I have decided to start a new series called Sunday Favourites. I will be sharing weekly, 5 things that have stood out as being a favourite. Feel free to join in as well and tweet me your posts, I would love too read about what you have been enjoying this week. Would you like to join in? If so, let me know and I can open it up as a weekly linky?

One || Lemon Tarts. Unfortunately this is not my creation, it is in fact the local supermarkets. Thanks to there rather lovely fresh cake counter, I have been hooked on these for quite some time. Just enough for one person and the contrast of citrus lemon and raspberries is definitely a winning combination.

Two || Sleepy Children. I adore going in to the children’s bedrooms, tucking them in and giving them one last kiss before I head to bed. Henry, is just the cutest when he sleeps. Normally surrounded by a billion teddies. Its been so hot though, he has discarded them for his current favourite. Busy days and late nights means this little one is shattered come bed time.

Three || Working Mama. Its been so long since I actually had a proper job. I know, parenting is a full time job, and its my full time job, but I now have a little part time job that keeps me busy. Its the first summer in many that I have had to work, and juggling being a parent is hard work. But I am really enjoying having a job. I work from home, so its not as though I am leaving the children, they are still with me, and thankfully I have James at home to help over the summer, otherwise I would definitely be more stressed!

Four || Fruit Picking. I have wanted to take Gracie and Henry fruit picking for months now {read years} I have just never got round to doing it. This week, I managed to get out with my mum, her husband, my sister and her boys and we all found a fruit farm and went picking. Its coming to the end of the season, but we managed to pick enough. Will be doing it earlier next year!

Five || New Books. This week I have started a new book. I was struggling with my previous book, so I have put it on the back burner for now. This is such an easy read. No doubt I will be finished within the week, if I actually get time to read it!
