Some Things I Love #40

I didn’t link up last week, and it felt like I had lost an arm.. Ive had a few bad weeks of blogging and generally feeling under the weather. But I could not miss another week of Some Things I Love! Here is what I have been loving this week.

Something I read:

I have not read much to be honest, shamefully a few tacky gossip magazines!

Some thing I watched:

I finally caught up with The Escape Artist (BBC) Its been on for a few weeks now and its just been sitting in my planner, but we had the perfect opportunity to watch it this week whilst I have been ill (sleeping all day has effects on the nigh time sleep!) We watched all three episodes in one night and I loved it!

Basically Talented barrister Will Burton (David Tennant) is known for never losing a case and being able to get criminals out of “tight legal corners”. But when Burton agrees to defend notorious murder suspect Liam Foyle (Toby Kebbell) and manages to get him off on a technicality, the decision comes back to haunt him.

It was such a compelling 3 part series, I really enjoyed it. I love David Tennant too!

Some thing I wore:

Scarfs, hat, gloves… Ive also been hugging the hot water bottle the last week or so. The weather has really changed and we are all suffering with the winter cold, that just will not shift!

Some thing I listened to:

I am a big fan of Lily Allen. I love her music and I am rather pleased she has made a comeback. This is the new christmas advert for John Lewis and I much prefer Lily’s version that the original (sorry any Keane Lovers)

Some thing I cannot live without:

A concoction of pills, vicks, tissues and cough medicine (not that it works!)

  • Missed you last week! So happy to have you back 🙂
We loved that BBC drama too, really pleased I found it on IPlayer as for some reason I completely missed any advertising for it. The acting was superb wasn’t it?
Hope your cold completely shifts this week! xx
