Some Things I Love #14
Some thing I read: I am still reading that same book on the kindle! its the same one Ive been reading for lets say erm…. months! I am frightfully slow at reading at the moment, I pick it up when I go to bed, but lately only manage a few paragraphs and I am asleep!
Some thing I watched: Once Upon A Time is back on Channel 5. I loved the first season. Its basically a series that takes place in the fictional seaside town of Storybrooke, in which the residents are actually characters from various fairy tales that were transported to the “real world” town and robbed of their real memories by the Evil Queen, Regina. The town’s only hope lies with a bail bondswoman, Emma Swan, the daughter of Snow White, who was transported from the fairy tale world before she could be cursed. As such, she is the only person who can break the curse and restore the characters’ lost memories, aided by her son, Henry, with whom she has recently reunited (after giving him up for adoption upon his birth), and his book of fairy tales that holds the key to ending the curse. Henry is also the adopted son of Regina (who is the mayor of Storybrooke), providing a source of conflict between the two women.
Its all very well written and wants you wanting more at the end of each episode! I am pleased its back and makes Sunday night (in my case Monday as I Sky+ it) worth waiting for!
Some thing I wore: Sandals!!!!! Yep you read that right, I wore sandals! My feet felt the warmth of that sun baby!
Some thing I cannot live without: I have said it before in here and I am going to say it again as he is just the best and I don’t know what I would of done the past week or so with out him.. but the wonderful husband… He has been a rock and everything else the past few weeks, nursing me back to strength in his own little way. Looking after the kiddo’s for me and its been tough but he has done a marvelous job at being a house husband for the past week and a half. He will not read this, so I can say what I like about him (all nice things of course!), he really is a wonderful man and I cannot live without him! Enough of the mush….
Some thing I listened to: I have really got into this band, Train, I love their album Save me San Francisco and “Hey Soul Sister” is one of my favourites. Ive been listening to their California 37 album a lot on Spotify and this is one that sticks out this week.
