Some Thing I Love #30

I have written 30 Something I Love’s! Its been a really busy week, meeting friends and lots of activities and baking, with the children! I am writing this as I am listening to to this weeks music choice, which I am loving oh so much! Its been on repeat a bit to often in this household this week and played rather loudly! Luckily most of my neighbours have been on holiday!

Something I read: I have to be honest the only things I read at the moment are kids books, and blogs! Ive been reading Cops and Robbers by Janet and Alan Ahlberg to the children, and I have been reading some of my favourite blogs, you should check them out here!

Some thing I watched: On Monday we had a day in, a slob day! We chilled in front of the TV and watched 4 disney films! We started with Aladdin, then we watched Monsters Inc, then Moo chose Sleeping Beauty which was a bit of a fail, but then after bath time we all sat down and watched the Little Mermaid. Most of these films are mine from when I was little, so I need to start a boys DVD collection for Thor!

I am trying to get Moo prepared for her first cinema trip! she did pretty well, she asked for most of those films, so thats always a start a guess! I am slightly worried as to how well she will cope at the cinema but time will tell.

Some thing I wore: The husband has a cold and I think Ive started to come down with it, Ive had a bit of a chill the last few days so I have actually had to wear a thicker cardigan, or should Is say just a cardigan! Ive not worn one in months! It felt slightly odd to be honest, sun shining and and me in a cardigan!

Some thing I listened to: Its a few months old, Im not sure why I have only just heard it, I very rarely listen to the radio anymore, I need one to put in the kitchen! I just love it..

Some thing I cannot live without: My cooker! Ive been on a baking frenzy this week! making a banoffee pie, fairy cakes and homemade mini pizza’s!  My cooker has really had a workout!

I am linking up with the lovely butwhymummywhy’s linky, if you want to join in read the rules here.

  • Disney film marathons are awesome! We’ve been in Beauty and the Beast phase at the moment but Cinderella, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo and Mulan all make a regular appearance. I’ve found the library has quite a few classics you can borrow to see whether they’re a hit before I try to track down the DVD.
