Some Thing I Love #23 *The Voice Edition*
Now I was not a fan of the voice as I mentioned in a previous post, but I was babysitting on Saturday and along with crochet I had nothing else to do or watch as my niece was so good, she didn’t stir once! So I ended up watching the final, much to my annoyance I actually got right into the episode bobbing my leg as I was making my granny squares, so here is what I have been loving this week…
Something I read: Ive not read much to be fair… BUT I cannot wait to read the follow up to The Devil Wears Prada, The Devil Returns, I loved the film and I have yet too read the books but I have both lined up on my kindle. Once Ive finshed my current book I shall be reading these!
Some thing I watched: As this is “The Voice” edition its obvious I watched the voice , and Ive stated it already! Ive not been a fan of this series and I was not a fan of the first, we have not heard much of what happened to the winner of season one, and I think we will hear more of the runner up of this season than the winner to honest!
I was shocked with the result if I am fair, Ive seen a few clips of Leah’s performance that a friend has sent me over the last few weeks and Ive been blown away by her performance’s and this week I was knocked of my chair with her duet with Will.I.Am, it was something that blew all the other contestants out of the water and I thought that was a winning performance on its own!
But the public thought differently obviously and I just hope Leah gets all the advice and help (I am sure she will) and becomes a huge star as she is going to be big!
Some thing I wore: The sandals came back out this week, its been so humid and warm.. Im not a fan of this type of weather, I like the sun to be out, I don’t like all this muggy business, the night-times are the worst as you just cannot get comfy.
Some thing I listened to: Again I am paying homage to the Voice, here is that amazing performace from Will.I.Am and Leah with Bang Bang.. Its amazing and Moo is hooked on it and is constantly asking to watch it!
Some thing I cannot live without: Holidays! As of tomorrow we are off on our family holiday, only along the east coast, but I am so excited to be getting away from the daily grind of things, play school run, routine etc.. A week of family time!
