Some Thing I Love #21

This week has flown by and I actually cannot quite believe I am sat here writing another Some Thing I Love post! To be honest Ive had a tumbleweed moment on the blog, and to be fair on Twitter. Im not sure why, but Ive just stepped back over the last few weeks. I just need someone to push me back into I guess. But Im felling a bit “blah” about the whole blogging thing at the moment, I love blogging, I just don’t feel like I am at my best at the moment.

But I can not miss out on doing this fabby little linky! So Here it is…

Something I read: As Ive not been blogging, its given me time to read my Kindle, and also read a pattern, I read a crochet pattern this week and took a step away from making my blanket and make a mug hug, nothing to shout about, but I was a bit wary about reading patterns as they looked a bit complicated, but surprisingly I managed to end up with a fairly decent mug hug!

Some thing I watched: It was the final of The Fall (BBC2) this week, and I started the week looking forward to it, then on Monday I watched an interview with Jamie Dornan and I was really annoyed that the person doing the interview had let the cat out the bag when the show had not even been aired! The husband had already expressed his suspicions but still I was not a happy bunny. Its been commissioned for a 2nd series and I cannot wait as I loved it (Thank-you butwhymummywhy for recommending it!) All I am going to say on the matter is its been left on a cliff hanger so series 2 should be very good!! If you have not seen it do try and catch it if its available on iPlayer.

Some thing I wore: I am ashamed to say some jumpers have been out this week! Ive not got to the coat stage, just some thick jumpers. The weather has really turned, from lovely sunny hot weather, to miserable, cloudy, rainy, muggy, weather. Just pants really!

Some thing I listened to: I don’t watch the voice, I can’t stand it. I find it irritating, especially a certain judge and their gurning exercises, but I was talking to a friend this week and he sent me this video and I have to say this girl is amazing, Ive just had her playing in the background, if she won, and released this I would definitely buy it!

Some thing I cannot live without: Monday morning I woke to no voice, much to my husbands delight, I could barely muster a whisper! I had no warning what so ever, Sunday I was a bit hoarse, but Monday I had nothing! Ive been on the lozenges since, by tuesday evening, the huskiness was back! The kids have loved it, they seemed to have got away with murder this week!

I am linking up with the lovely butwhymummywhy’s linky, if you want to join in read the rules here.

  • I can really relate to what you say about stepping back from blogging and twitter I go through times like that too. I don’t think it’s a bad thing though, I just use the time to re-focus a bit. Hope you get your blogging mo-jo back! πŸ˜‰
Ooh The Fall! So pleased its got commissioned for another series. My mister was very disappointed with the ending but I’m just intrigued where they will take it next.
We watch the Voice and LOVE Leah. There are some super talented people on it but she just blows them all out of the water.
Thanks for joining in, love reading your posts xxx

    • Thanks Lovely πŸ™‚

I cannot wait for the return! I really hope its going to be all the original cast and no replacements, I think Gillian Anderson was great, I am not a big fan of hers but I have to say my opinions have changed now, she is bloody good!

Still not converted to the voice, but If Leah won, then an album purchase may be on the cards πŸ˜‰

  • Sorry to hear you’ve been ill this week ….never easy being a sick mummy!! Still want to watch The Fall (got a bit of a thing for th gorgeous Emmett Scanlan ….as long as I can type up tomorrow’s post quickly later I will actually sit down and watch it !! Xx Hope you get some rest this weekend and feel better soon xx

  • Hope you’re feeling a bit better now. I take the odd week or so off from blogging and social media now and again. It’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind and stepping back helps you to see things with a fresh pair of eyes. Hope you’re having a lovely weekend.
