Some Thing I Love #20

Well its Friday, and can only mean one thing, Some Thing I Love… So here is my 20th edition!

Something I read: Ive started a new book “The Baby Diaries” Its a really easy read and the follow up to “The Wedding Diaries” by Sam Binnie. I downloaded it yonks ago as it was 99p in the Kindle store and Ive only just got round it reading it.

Some thing I watched: Apart from the usual, The Fall (BBC2) and Banshee (SKY) which I am actually really enjoying! I watched The Americans on Saturday night (ITV) It’s been hyped as the new homeland, which I doubt can possibly happen as homeland is just amazing and I don’t think anything can beat it.

The first episode was packed with lots of goings on and at first I was a bit lost but soon got the gist of the story,  I am eagerly awaiting the second episode, its already been scheduled for a second season in the US so I am assuming its a good series!

Some thing I wore: Suncream! The sun has had its hat on all week and as Moo has been of for that extra week we have really made the most of it and been out, even if its just over to the local park.

Some thing I listened to: My husband has a mixture of songs on his iPod, when the children heard this song for the first time when they were in the bath a few months ago they went berserk and now ask for it constantly! Moo heard it on an advert recently and her obsession for it has grown. It only sounds good blasted through the zeppelin speakers on full blast but I have to take in consideration my neighbours!

Some thing I cannot live without: This week saw me say good bye to someone who played a big part in my childhood when I was growing up. It was bittersweet really, such a sad occasion but getting too see people I have not seen in years, who were all involved in my childhood, somewhere along the line. Ive come away with mobile numbers and I plan to keep them and contact them and meet up with them as we have spoken about. Time like this remind you of your own family and puts your own life in perspective so I know I have said it before but this week I can’t live without family and friends

I’m sorry to hear that you lost someone close to you. It’s at those times we really do have a wake up call to stay in touch with long distance people and hold close those nearest to us.
I must have missed The Americans, will defo have to have a look for it on catch up! Xx
