Night Monkey, Day Monkey {What We’re Reading}

Night Monkey and Day Monkey’s worlds are different as…

night and day! What one fears the other loves.

But in learning about each other’s opposite worlds,

they also learn to be the best of friends.

I will never ever get bored of Julia Donaldson books. I do’t think the children will either..

I have to be honest, this book has been sitting on our shelf for some time and I have only just picked it up to read to the children. I am pleased I did as its a charming little story.

It clearly explains the difference between night and day and all the different animals you may not always see in the day.

Moo and the little man, both intently listened to the book, pointing out the monkeys and all the animals that they came across. The book is bright and captivating and really draws you in.

I am actually really pleased I pulled it off the shelf to read. Definitely one to pick up and read again.

If you have been reading and want to share then please pop by Lucy (dear beautiful) Kelle (Maggie Stone) and Carrie (Space for Butterflies) and see what they have been reading and link up there!

    Oh isn’t it gorgeous. I’ve not seen this one before but I love the illustrations, they seem slightly softer than the Axel Schafer ones and perfect for bedtime reading!
