Cinema Trips, The Wire, Renovations… Little Loves 31/52

Happy Friday peeps… Another week has passed and its time for another little catch up with all the lovely bloggers that link up with Morgana and their #littleloves

Its been a mad couple of weeks, first we had our family holiday {which I am still yet to blog about!} and then I had a very unexpected blog break. Its been a whirl wind week and as I type I am recovering from a small operation which was totally unexpected.

I wasn’t going to join in this week as I couldn’t actually think what I have enjoyed about this week, but thankfully I have managed to come up with quite a few things and put a little bit of happiness into a rather horrid week!

Without to much waffling, this is what I have been loving this week…

Apart from hospital letters and such, I am still reading my book, although I am slowly making my way through it, it comes as a light relief!

I may have indulged in a few trashy magazines as well but hey, it was a very long drive back from the Lakes last week

As I didn’t join in last week because we were enjoying ourselves on holiday, I have to give a little mention to watching Moo and H loving all things “holiday” I loved their smiley faces and the way they lit up at the smallest of things.

This week, we took them to see the Minion film {finally!} Both Moo and H loved it {I may of done too}

I am also currently {as I type} catching up on all this trashy Coronation Street, Don’t Tell The Bride and The Interceptor

I am loving this song. I heard it a few months ago {I believe its a few years old… Where have I been!!} I have been playing it on repeat quite a bit lately. Its definitely a song thats made a firm place in my iTunes library {thanks to  music!}

Well, I am currently in slob gear, resting on the sofa.. Ive not worn anything too special lately.. last week on holiday the rain mac I bought came in handy as it rained quite a bit!

We are finally making {tedious link I know} a start on the house renovations after a year of being here {whoop} First up is the lounge, nothing too major yet. The Mr is currently hanging a radiator on the wall and running the pipes under the floor. This resulted in us ripping up the carpet this week, which makes a whole lot of difference {that carpet was a serious throw back to the 70’s!}

‘And lastly..’

So as I said earlier, I have had to have a minor op this week, it has happened very quickly and I am still trying to get my head round it all, but hopefully everything has been removed and I won’t have any other problems. I have written a post, but unsure if I actually want to “post” it. All I know is its so damn important to check your self {not just boobie wise!} Luckily I noticed a mole changing and its been dealt with rather quickly, but some people leave them and it only gets worse. Check and sunscreen up at the highest possible factor..

I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!

  • Hope you are feeling better now? My fil had 2 moles removed last week. It is so important to check yourself. I hope you get to rest up and relax over the weekend xx

  • I hope you’re okay and the op was a success, I’m a little paranoid about moles and am always checking them. Take some time to chill out and put your feet up on the sofa with some trashy mags.
    P.S. Have you really been in your new house a year, that’s flown by? xxx

    • Yes! A whole year!! Today in fact! It’s seriously flown by! I am always at the Drs about moles and I’m always turned away, this one has become a shock really and definitely glad I don’t listen to the voice in my saying “don’t bother!”

  • You must have had a fright when they said they wanted to remove the mole, but absolutely it is so important to get checked! On a different note, I read about you saying goodbye to your Nan, and just wanted to say I’m glad you got a little sunshine on what must have been a difficult day. Good luck with the renovations! I would love to see some pictures in the future! x
