Call Me Scrooge….

I hate the build up too Christmas, call me scrooge, call me what you like, I just hate it. Its slowly changing now I have children. You make it special for them, make it believable and exciting.

I hate shopping, the crowds, the people, the queues, it just makes me anxious, and scrooge like. You see something you like, go to pick it up of the shelf and someone gets there before you, and before you know it your in some last ditch fight to get the last toy on the shelf. Its all too much for my liking. It brings out the worst in people if you ask me.

Yesterday, We went and did ALL our christmas shopping got all the cards, wrapping paper, stocked up on batteries. (just in case!) It took from 9am till 5pm mind! Everything is tucked away nicely in the loft and here I am feeling pretty smug that I don’t have to venture out anymore of a weekend to attempt to fight my way through the christmas crowds… It feels good!
