Brown Bear, Brown Bear {What We’re Reading}

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?

This book is perfect for colour recognition and learning your animals. This book is Moo’s and although its a bit young for her, she still loves it and now she is at school I am trying to teach her the words and am getting her to read it.

The little man loves it and he named each and every animal by glancing at the book. I am now trying to teach him the colours, which this book is perfect for.

Exuberantly coloured artwork and favourite animals make this rhythmic story the perfect introduction to looking and learning about colours. Each spread leads seamlessly into the next and young children will love Eric’s colourful collage animals and simple repetitive language.

If you have been reading and want to share then please pop by Lucy (dear beautiful) Kelle (Maggie Stone) and Carrie (Space for Butterflies) and see what they have been reading and link up there!

    I love Eric Carle’s illustrations, they are as you say, exuberant – and utterly captivating because of it!!
