Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and that’s a Little Love round-up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat.

Again, I failed to link up last week. I have been a pretty poor blogger this year and I wrote a post yesterday about how I took a longer break than expected. Life has just got in the way and I have struggled to balance blog and home life. I have so many ideas floating round my head, I just need to put it into action.

This week has been quite manic. I have been busy training at work, busy with school PTA stuff which seems never ending and generally busy at home. I’ve enjoyed lots though. I love this linky because even though life is really busy, it makes you take time out and remember the little things that have happened and take stock of those moments.

Without too much waffling, here are the little things I have been loving.

I am making my way through Friend Request. I’ve not picked it up in a few days because I have been quite busy. I normally take it to the school where I can read a few chapters before pick-up but Ive taken to taking my iPad instead to catch up on Netflix!

The news of the week was The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrival of the new Prince! Not only was I refreshing my news apps, I was also listening intently on the impending arrival! {I love the royals}  It must be awful to have to be up, out and looking pristine after having a baby. Standing in front of the national press is the last thing anyone wants to do, but unfortunately its expected. My heart went out to her standing outside the Lindo Wing. Bet she just wanted to get home and get her pj’s on! How cute is the new Prince though?

As I said in the previous section, I have been watching Netflix before the school pick-up. I am steaming through Suits. I absolutely love it and season five is definitely a nail biter!

We are making our way through the second part of the latest Walking Dead series. Our sky planner failed to start recording so we missed a few. Luckily we were able to download. Poor Carl! I have to admit, this whole season has been pretty slow and its not up to its usual standard!

I finally caught up with Marcella. This series was pretty good, but a tad slow and I struggled towards the end. I left the last episode on my planner for a couple of weeks. My mum and her husband said I must watch it, so over the weekend I caught up. I am so glad I did, because it tied the series together and it was worth the watch! What did you think?

I am still on the Greatest Showman bandwagon. I am listening to it all the time. Its not taken me long to learn the songs. Mr B hates me for getting the CD for the car! I’m sure when he watches it he will really enjoy it!

I didn’t watch The Voice, but I have heard the winner over on Youtube and she is bloody brilliant. I adore her version of Dreams and love the duet she did with Tom. What do you think?

Suncream! Its now becoming rather warm {the last few days haven’t been overly nice!} Its so important to protect yourself. I know I go on about it quite a lot, but you wouldn’t ignore a lump. The skin is such an important organ and its so important that its protected.
Because the weather has been so glorious, I managed to put the boots to the back of the wardrobe and move my collection of Sollilas to the front. My go to footwear in the spring/summer!

I have been making plans for the annual PTA events. I have been Chair Person now for two years and although I find it quite stressful I also find it rewarding organising events and reaping the rewards. The best thing is the money raised goes back into the school for the children. We have quiet a few events coming up. The main one being the School Summer Fete. Its a big thing and the organisation takes months. Its all coming together now and hopefully it will be a day of fun for all the children, and of course the adults!

Mr B is working this weekend, so we have a weekend of homework! We get homework at the beginning of the term and normally we get till half term to complete it. I always leave it to the last minute, so I am being pro-active and getting it done early! G tends to take herself off and do it herself, H on the other hand needs a bit of persuading! How do you get your little ones to sit down and get it done?

Whatever your up too, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,

I’ve not watched any of The Voice, but I enjoyed listening to the songs you’ve shared. She’s got a gorgeous voice, and a little different from the usual style these talent shows churn out.
Finally caught up with Marcella after seeing you mention it a couple of weeks ago. I did enjoy it, and it had me guessing throughout but I still wouldn’t rave about it, not sure why though.
    Have a lovely weekend! x

The first season if Marcella was so much better than the second. I got waylaid with this series. It was watchable. Not sure how the 3rd will pan out!

You just reminded me the little one has homework to do this weekend. His teacher is quite cool though, she says they can do it if they want – my little geek loves doing homework though, especially the crafty stuff. I still haven’t watched Suits or Marcella. Seriously need to up my tv watching game. Have a great weekend lovely x

Definitely watch Suits! Would recommend that than Marcella – even though I did go on a bit about it, it was a bit of a letdown. Suits is brilliant!

I to am really struggling to find a balance with blogging, work and family time at the moment. It doesn’t help that April and May are such busy months for us with birthdays. I’m hoping to get back I to a routine over the next couple of weeks.
