Since starting school I have noticed the tiredness setting in with Moo more quickly. I was expecting it and prepared myself for the tantrums that were to join us after school..
As we get used to settling in to school, I have been a bit lenient with Moo falling asleep when she gets home. I only let her nap for 30 minutes or so to get her energy levels back up. Its too be expected that she is going to be tired after a full day at school!
There is nothing more I love seeing than my girl in a blissful deep sleep. So peaceful (for me) and her. I love to take in every inch of her gorgeous little face, her long beautiful eyelashes and her soft pale skin.
Thor, has dropped his nap. I don’t have a routine where I put him down for a nap anymore. What I love about Thor is once lunch is over with he will play, but he will then come for a cuddle and have a 40 minute nap next to me. He will bury his head into my side and snooze away. It is mine and his time.
There are times where this “mine and his time” ends up in the car on a journey back from somewhere, so I end up sitting cuddle-less in the front seat waiting for him to wake! (Its normally longer than 40 minutes too!!)
These are simple ordinary moments children go through. They are moments that give me peace and moments I treasure as I get to capture every inch of my children’s beautiful faces.
