My Little Star… {The Ordinary Moments}

Now this is not so ordinary, in fact its a once in a lifetime opportunity. You only get to be in the reception nativity once.

I received the letter this week. To be honest  it was quite a nerve wracking wait. I was not fussed what Moo was going to be, I new what ever she was she would be the best that she could be.

When Moo left play school a week ago, she came running out declaring she had her part. I got home and searched her book bag for evidence but I couldn’t back up her claim with written evidence. So I though, maybe they were just talking about it.

Monday of last week, a letter returned in her bag, and yes, my little star was correct. Luckily she has no words to remember I think she would blunder at the last minute and be one of those children that cal out for her mummy!

She has been learning songs and is often reciting them to me, although she did confuse camel with cowboy, so I have had to tell her its actually camel you sing, she was not impressed and declared cowboy sounded better!

So as you guessed, my little girl is playing the one and only star! I am so chuffed for her and cannot wait to see her in the nativity. I am sure I will be as nervous as Moo will be on the day and I am so excited for her. You only get this opportunity once!

I am linking up with the lovely Katie at Mummy Daddy Me for her wonderful linky The Ordinary Moments

    Oh wow! That’s definitely a milestone moment. And a star is a great part – I was a towns person for four years running!
