Lets Go Fly A Kite {The Ordinary Moments}

Spring. I love spring, I have said many times on this little blog of mine how its my favourite season, summer and autumn coming a close second and winter last.

This weekend we popped over to the local park and took with us a kite we purchased a few months back. It actually wasn’t that windy so we was expecting it not to fly. But being in the open air on a field it was surprising how much of a breeze there was.

Blue skies, bright sunshine and a gentle breeze was perfect weather for flying a kite. Moo had her first taster at flying it too! Perfect weather, perfect afternoon.

    Ah that looks like lots of fun indeed. I have such fond memories of flying a kite with my Dad when I was younger. We actually got given a kite as a birthday present for Mads, so I think we will have to go out and use it soon after seeing these pics. Spring is definitely here and it’s so lovely.

    Oh that’s a beautiful kite – and I’m wildly impressed you got it up in the air – my childhood memories usually involve running around trailing the kite on the ground behind me in the faint hope of it actually taking off!

      It took some running around, and some serious nose dives but in-between all of that it flew pretty well!

    Wow what a lovely kite! There is something so therapeutic about flying a kite isn’t there!! Looks like a lovely day, you got some great pictures 😀 x

    That’s a lovely kite. We love going off to fly a kite too, so it’s nice seeing someone else do it too 🙂
