Christmas Treats {The Ordinary Moments}

This has become a very frequent ordinary moment. Since the shelves of the supermarket started filling up with them, I have become obsessed.

There is something about a mince pie that just says “christmas” I love them and already I have eaten far too many and my mind is telling me to stop!

This weekend we took a trip over the water to Bluewater to buy some christmas pyjamas for the children as there is not a John Lewis near us. We found ourselves in the basement in the Waitrose section eyeing up all the amazing cakes (normally I just stick to  sainsbury’s.. but these were amazing and double the size!! apart from these dinky mince pies) I chose a cherry and almond lattice and spied these teeny tiny mince pies. They were quickly snapped up and are currently waiting to be eaten!

December is just a lovely month, not jus for all that mince pie eating..

This month is going to be full mince pie eating and its going to become a very regular ordinary moment!

I am linking up with the lovely Katie at Mummy Daddy Me for her wonderful linky The Ordinary Moments

    I miss mince pies, not a big thing here in the US! Might have to try and make my own 🙂 #OrdinaryMoments

    Now you see i am going to put it out there and say that I really don’t like mince pies. Shocker I know, I am a little strange. But I do love the smell of them. And just seeing other people eat them makes me happy cause it means it’s nearly CHRISTMAS! Woo hoo! 😉 x
