Chill Time {The Ordinary Moments}

This week both Moo and the Little Boy simultaneously were ill. {slightly rare!} Tuesday morning Moo complained she was hot, I gave her some medicine {her temp was just peaking over 37.5} She said she wanted to go to school, she was her normal self. Off she went with the knowladge that if she came over feeling ill she could tell the teacher and come home.

The little Boy went off to play school. He ran in, kissed me goodbye and I left. An hour later the phone rang and the Little boy had taken a funny turn, he was saying he was ill and rubbing his belly. I picked him up early and he came home and chilled on the sofa.

I went and did the school pick up as normal and Moo came out looking pale and tired. Back home she fell asleep and this sparked the downhill spiral of the sickness bug {although there was no sickness!}

3 days off school and one and a half days of chilling on the sofa made theM 100 times better. Although a mad dash to the doctors late Wednesday night, due to a temperature that just wouldn’t reduce. Armed with antibiotics for both the chilling commenced!

Its horrible when they are ill, but worse when they are both ill. together. Whiney and clingy. Moo is back to her happy, self {slightly stroppy, but hey what 5 year old isn’t} The little boy is still a bit teary, and clingy, but we had fun, just chilling….

I am linking up with the lovely Katie at Mummy Daddy Me for her wonderful linky The Ordinary Moments

    Aww poor poorly little ones. And poor you, it’s definitely hard when they’re both ill at once – I’m glad they’re on the mend.

    Ahhh bless you and them. It’s never easy when they are sick but you are right it’s hard when they are both sick together. We as parents only have so much room on our laps and two arms to help them both! I can’t relate we just had two very sick chicken pox babas and it wasn’t easy glad they are feelin better now. Big hugs. #ordinarymoments

    It sounds strange but I quite like the snuggles I get when they are poorly. Not nice at the same time though. Glad they are on the mend, it’s not nice seeing them poorly. x

    Oh I am glad they are getting better. My son is starting to have the high temp few hours ago. Hopefully it wont go and be a real fever. #TheOrdinaryMoments
