Baby No More… {The Ordinary Moments}

I will always look at Moo as my baby girl, she is my only girl so why shouldn’t I?

There are little things she does and it really hits hard that she isn’t a baby any more, she is a little girl.

This week, she put something in the bin and I told her she should wash her hands as she touched the inside. She asked if she could wash them in the kitchen and before I could say no, your too small to reach the tap, she said,

“I don’t even need to stand on my tippy toes mummy, look, I can reach!”

This was a little be of a revelation for me! Since when was she tall enough to use the kitchen sink?

I am linking up with the lovely Katie at Mummy Daddy Me for her wonderful linky The Ordinary Moments

    Oh that’s so sweet. I was just saying the same thing about my son today. How can they grow before our very eyes so quickly? Maybe I blink too long. I hate missing it. lol I wish they would stay young for longer. #ordinarymoments

    I’ve never said before, but your photos are always so beautiful, especially as you don’t show their faces. You manage to make them so creative and lovely. And I agree, Mads will come out with things occasionally and I think how on earth do you know how to do that or say that?!

      Katie, Thank you so much for your comment, coming from someone who takes stunning photo’s it really means a lot. I am no expert I just point and shoot most of the time, I find these #ordinarymoments and the #livingarrows challenges a real task sometimes but I think I get it most of the time xxx

    Oh isn’t she getting all grown up – it always surprises me when the girls do something knew that they’ve just figured out by sitting and watching!

    Blink and they’ve grown. That’s what it feels like. I had a similar moment with my three year old last week and was totally gobsmacked!
