Afternoon Siesta's {The Ordinary Moments}

H dropped his nap a long time ago, I think he had just turned 2 when I actually stopped putting him down for a sleep in bed. If he was purposely put down in the afternoon, it meant he wouldn’t sleep of an evening when it was bed-time.

This has its advantages and disadvantages. A long afternoon and sometimes a grumpy little boy.

Now he is at play school, the tiredness sets in quicker and sometimes I cannot help but let him have a little siesta in the afternoon. I could go out and make myself a drink and come back to this….

Sometimes he needs that little nap, but mostly its a Monday, this what you are seeing happens every Monday without fail. He is so shattered from the weekend, play school knocks him for six, so when he is home he collapses and has a little snooze. I would prefer it, if it was on the sofa, or a bed, but you can’t predict where he will nap!

I am linking up with the lovely Katie at Mummy Daddy Me for her wonderful linky The Ordinary Moments

    That is absolutely adorable! Because I am so strict with naps my girls rarely fall asleep in random places but I wish they would for the photo opportunities. 😉 x
