VREMI WHISTLING KETTLE AND ICE CUBE TRAYS REVIEW {AND GIVEAWAY}

Last week I received a Vremi Whistling Kettle. I have had one whistling kettle before, but it was mains powered so I was looking forward to actually using this on the hob. Nothing beats the distinct sound of a musical steam whistle coming from a […]

THE WEEKEND BOX REVEIW WITH SNAZAROO FACE PAINTS

THE WEEKEND BOX REVEIW WITH SNAZAROO FACE PAINTS

A few weeks ago we were sent a Weekend Box and inside, were some great mini packs of Snazaroo face paints! You can never go wrong with face paints and its a fun activity for all to enjoy.

Andy founded Weekend Box after looking for gift ideas for his four nieces and nephews: nothing seemed to embody the mix of healthy living, green and creative content that he feel is so important to child development so he quit his job and launched Weekend Box – the rest is history!

Everything you need for a weekend of fun activities with your children is delivered directly to your door. The hard part’s done. All you need to do is enjoy time with your children.

The weekend box have now partnered up with Snazaroo. If you have not heard of them they are considered by many as the “world’s favourite face paint”. Snazaroo are also sellers of face painting accessories and kits, from all different styles, colours and themes.

This is the second weekend box I’ve received and I have to admit, it’s just as good as the first. This time the contents included were some samples of the new Snazaroo face painting sets.

Both G and H love face paints so they were really eager to get stuck in and use them. I have to admit, I’m a face painting novice and we very rarely have it at home. We take full advantage of it when we are out and about at fetes, carnivals, parties. We have a huge collection of face painting pictures to cherish of faces made of of butterflies, lions, tigers, cats and many more.

I tested these particular paints out on H as G would not cooperate. H wanted a dinosaur but my artistic skills would not stretch that far. So we went for the trusty tiger instead. We both really enjoyed doing this together. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the paint went on, and how easy it was. I liked the thickness of the paints. The other brands I have used at home have always been weak in colour and not vibrant but the Snazaroo paints are full of colour and went onto the skin really well. I was impressed with the final outcome and H was a very happy friendly tiger!

Snazaroo face paints are fragrance-free and specially-formulated to be gentle on the skin. They do  recommend that before you start, you swipe a small test area on the inside of the arm or elbow.

**I was sent a free weekend box for the purpose of this review**
