POP UP BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, THE WALKING DEAD, COMFORT FOOD | LITTLE LOVES 41/52

Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat.

Like last week, this week has been a bit hard for me. I have been waiting for that all important date and yesterday I finally received the confirmation letter and I am booked in for my op on Tuesday. Im feeling really overwhelmed by it all yet again. I wrote a post up, which is a bit of a personal one. Its all about guilt and how very guilty I feel putting everyone through it again. I cannot shake the feeling and I am struggling to keep focused on the positives. But like last week I am trying to pick out my Little Loves of the week and trying to distract my wandering brain to the positives that have happened throughout half term!!

Without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

In just shy of 2 weeks I will have a beautiful 9 year old. I still cannot believe how quickly those 9 years have gone. My mum and her husband are away for her birthday, and as they go on Monday, I agreed that she could one their birthday gifts early. Now we are yet to read this, as its so delicate and I am petrified of tearing it! But they bought her the most amazing pop-up Beauty and The Beast story book. I have never seen a pop up book like it and I was amazed at the detail. Its really is such a beautiful book and there are so many different bits you can pull out and read. We both cannot wait to have a quiet moment to sit and read it together.

Lots of Kids TV! Its half term here so we have been making the most of Netflix and kids channels. I was literally on standby for a last minute date, I was told it could possibly be a days notice so I purposely didn’t plan anything during the week. So the days we have not been out its been TV/Sofa days which quite frankly have been lovely.

Can we take a moment to talk about The Walking Dead. Its back! If you have not given this program a go, then YOU SHOULD! The opening to season 7 was a bit weird, but all the same, I am so glad its back. I love Negan. Your supposed to hate the bad guys, but I love how Jeffrey Dean Morgan portrays him.

I watched Bake Off. We tend not to watch it on the night its aired as I can’t stand the adverts and 90% of the time I find myself drifting off. I was gobsmacked that Liam went last week. Mr B and I really thought he deserved to stay. This week again, I feel they got it wrong again. I really hope they don’t mess this final up. I really want Sophie to win it. She has deserved to get Star Baker more times than she has! She is by far my favourite of the three remaining. Can we also take a moment to mention the Flamingo Show Stopper!?? I mean, it was bloody amazing!

I’ve also watched, Our Girl, which kicked up a gear this week. I was only talking to my sister about it before I watched it, saying I was disappointed with it. This week was a good episode though! The Apprentice I am behind on, so will catch up with that tonight and Celebrity Hunted! Cant believe Anniker Rice failed!! I am back Spencer and Jamie!

Not much this week.. Lots of Chatter from G and H. its been lovely listening to them play. They have both been obsessed with Lego Dimensions, more so H but G has been playing it to help him out. Its nice not to hear them bickering!

Nothing to shout about really. I have been wrapping up warm as the temperature has dropped. Knits and jumpers have been my go to wear this week.

I have also been wearing my new Marc Jacobs Mascara. It so lovely and makes my lashes look extra thick and full! Just what I need.

I made a very delicious Shepherds pie this week. Who doesn’t love comfort food? Shepherds Pie is one of my favourites. I slow cooked the mince all day and then popped it in the oven when it was time. I cooked up some veg and it was a big hit. G and H wouldn’t eat it, but my mum and her husband polished it off. Its not Mr B’s choice of dinners but he even said how tasty it was. I made enough to freeze some for next week too!

As well as the beautiful book G received, she was also bought the new Lego and Friends Catamaran set. We spent Wednesday morning building it together. G did so well. She did give up on the last bag. She was so chuffed she made most of it herself though! I was slightly put out as she is now at the age where she wants to do it and I can’t sit there and do it for her! I love building Lego!

We have no real plans for the weekend. We may go and watch a free fireworks display that is put on every weekend up to bonfire night. They are normally really good and we have heard lots of good things about them. So we will make the trip to the beach and watch the display unfold from afar.

What ever your up to, have a wonderful weekend!

What a week! The cold that G had last week she kindly gave to me so I have been feeling really sluggish all week. I have been busying myself with blog work and a few videos over on my YouTube Channel {yes, I have moved over to vlogging now too!} I actually cannot believe I am sat down typing up my #LittleLoves of the week! It seems to have flown by! We have made the most of the lovely autumn weather by spending last weekend exploring the woods. It was so lovely to get out and enjoy the outdoors. Autumn is currently treating us well.

Without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

Not much, apart from loads of emails! Its been a very busy blogging week. It really feels its notched up a gear, which I am really thankful for! Its what I want to do, so reading lots of emails has been a good thing!!

Oh my goodness, who watched Doctor Foster? Well, I was so surprised with how it panned out and I am desperately waiting on news that there will be a third series! There has to be, right? They can’t just leave it like that!! Can they?

I also caught up with Liar, another great drama on ITV. My sister and I actually watched it together on wednesday as we were both yet to watch it. I have no idea who is lying, the bloke is doing himself no favours and my theory has well and truly gone out of the window!

The Apprentice is back! I love this programme.  As of yet I am still to watch the first episode, but hopefully by the time this goes live I will have caught up.

Grey’s Anatomy is back {US only at the moment} but I managed to watch the 2 hour series opener and it didn’t dissapoint. So looking forward to seeing how season 14 pans out! Its going to be a good-un

Also, Vlog wise, I watched two videos that really stood out this week. Firstly Charlottes very lovely gender reveal. I adored the video and loved the way it was edited.

Secondly a video from Emily Norris, which literally had me weeping. It was heartbreaking, but she was so brave to do it and the way she told her story was beautiful.

Driving back from the school run, I heard the worst cover version of a song I loved when I was at school. Now, I normally love a cover but this was left me speechless. I went home and played the original, which I have been playing a lot to get the outlandish cover version out of my head!

I bought two new tops this week. One was a really cosy jumper which I love. Ive never really been into styling with the season changes but I have found a new found love of wearing clothes that suit the seasons. Comfy jumpers are definitely the thing to be wearing this autumn. I picked up a blush pink long sleeved knitted jumper whilst out this week. Also I saw a really lovely pale blue embroidered shirt which I also bought. Both items are really easy to wear with jeans, which is my go to trouser! Stupidly I did not take photos blog worthy, but if you follow me on Instagram, you may of seen the pink jumper over there.

I made Mr B a birthday cake at the weekend. His favourite cake ingredients are almonds and cherries, so I decided to make a almond and cherry cake of course! Was so easy and turned out really well. I may just have to make another one!

Last weekend I “made” three videos over on YouTube! I was so busy and I am really enjoying doing them. Especially the video link up “snapshots and scenes” My talking videos I still come across very nervous, but I really enjoy editing the videos where I am not sat in front of the camera. If you want to take a look, then pop over to my channel.

I am hosting my first ever competition! I reviewed a kettle a few weeks ago, and I have that and some very nifty ice-cube trays to giveaway. If you want to join in then visit my original post here. Good Luck!

A rather chilled out weekend is on the cards! We have a lot of sorting to do. H’s bedroom oil in need of a good clean out, so Saturday we have set aside to doing that! Wish us luck!!

What a week, its flown by and I am quite shocked I am late in posting this up! Normally I am prepared at least a day in advance! This week has seen us back fully in a routine and its rather lovely. I work better when I have a schedule to go by and although my blog schedule has been a bit hit and miss, my life schedule is back to where it should be!

Without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

Today I finished Wilde Like Me and I really really enjoyed it. Its left me wanting more from Robin, I fell in love with the character and I am still thinking to myself how is her life now? I know its a book but I was so pulled into it I started to think I was reading about a real person! If you have not read it or its on your pile, then don’t hang about, get reading! You won’t regret it. I am really looking forward to reading more from Louise Pentland {I am hoping she will be writing more!!}

I was a bot late catching up with Doctor Foster last week. Everyone seemed to be talking about in on the school run and I had to stand there with my fingers in my ears. I did finally watch it and OH.MY.GOODNESS. It kicked off with a corker of an episode, I think there is going to be so many twists and turns this series. Its very good, and episode two this week was brilliant. I did not want it to end.

Did anyone catch up with Liar? It was in ITV on Monday and it really had me gripped from the get go. It follows Laura Nielson and Andrew Earlham, whose initial attraction leads to a date that has far-reaching consequences on the couple and their friends and families, as secrets and lies are revealed. What do you think? Who do you think is lying?

Taylor Swift… Not her new song, which might I add is quite catchy. Last week I went to bed. I was so tired, I vaguely heard loud music. Thinking it was a car outside I turned over and fell straight back to sleep. Again I was woke up by more loud music. I thought maybe someone was having a party. It went off quite quickly so I hazily fell back off. It wasn’t until the third time I heard loud music did I realise It was G’s stereo player, blasting out Taylor Swift – Welcome to New York. She was trying her hardest to turn it off. Randomly it went into alarm mode and kept going off every 10 minutes!

Also, I have been listening to Sam Smith this week. He is back and better than ever. I adore him and loved his previous albums. Ive had his back log of music playing in the background whilst cooking.

I am getting good at snapping what I am wearing. A second week in a row I have something to share with you! I manage to pick up this top in the sale for £8 and I love it. I am really into the baggy T-Shirt look at them moment and I feel really comfortable in them. This simple tee has had its fair share of wearing already!

I made a Vlog! Yep, I have made the bold move over to YouTube. I have done two videos. The first was last months favourites. You can tell I was really nervous, but hopefully I will get better with it. The second Vlog, was my snapshots and scenes for this month and I really enjoyed editing it together. Again, was my first edited video so its still quite basic. I know I can do better, so hopefully over time I will get a bit more experience and Vlog a bit more! Who knows.. I am planning to do a flamingo themed favourites as you all know I love a flamingo!

Mr B is working AGAIN this weekend so I don’t have a lot planned. G is at a birthday sleepover and I have promised H a sleep over in our bed. Sunday we need to go and buy new winter coats as the temperature has drop quite a bit. Another chilled weekend.

What ever your up to, have a wonderful weekend!
