FOR THE LOVE OF | INSTAGRAM

I am back this week with my mini-series For The Love Of. This week its all about Instagram. I love this social networking platform and I don’t use it half as much as I should, but I love keeping up to date with all my favourites. So here are my three for this month.

A post shared by Jo (@notafrumpymum) on

I love Jo’s feed. Its full of family, life, baby, toddler and fashion photos. Her feed is an array of gorgeous images and she manages to capture moments perfectly. Jo has started a hashtag #NotAFrumpyMum. mainly aimed at fashion and what she and other Instagrammers are wearing, its a great way to find different styles. Its one I try {and fail} to remember to add to my fashion photos. If you have not done so already its definitely an account to check out.

A post shared by Rachel (@theordinarylovely) on

Rachel is an interiors addict and this shows throughout her feed. I lust daily over this account and I see so many images that I absolutely love and wish to re-create at home. Rachel’s feed isn’t just interior based, its also snippets of life with two boys. When out and about Rachel captures moments with her family perfectly and each photo is stunning. I adore this account and urge anyone that hasn’t checked it out to do so!

I have been following Kerry aka Noah and The Girls, for sometime now. She is a lifestyle and interiors Instagrammer with a blog to go with it. I love the filters used on Kerry’s pictures. Her feed is filled with gorgeous pictures of her children and the most beautiful flowers. I love Kerry’s take on flat-lays, her images are perfectly taken and its fast becoming a favourite Instagram account of mine. Click on the link above to check out her full feed. Its definitely must!

Do you have a favourite Instagrammer? Leave the link below, I am always looking for new feeds to follow! If you have not checked out the above I have blogged about then click on the links above to go straight to their page. You won’t regret it! If you enjoy them as much as me why don’t you give them a like too!

This reimagining of the classic book and film is a coming-of-age story about a young orphan who is seeking love, acceptance and her place in the world.  Anne, is a 13-year-old who has endured an abusive childhood in orphanages and the homes of strangers. In the late 1890s, Anne is mistakenly sent to live with aging siblings, Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, who live on Prince Edward Island. Anne, proves to be uniquely spirited, imaginative and smart, transforms the lives of Marilla, Matthew and everyone else in their small town.

This short series of a remake of Anne Of Green Gables was brilliant. There has been mixed reviews about the series, but I really enjoyed the new outlook of life at Green Gables. I loved the way it delved into the backstory of the characters more deeply and the snippets of life Anne had before moving to the farm. It was darker than the original series but again, I really enjoyed it. Definitely give this adaptation a go if you haven’t already. I would highly recommend watching the original too!

Rayna James has had a successful country-music career, but lately, her popularity has started to fade. Her record label believes the solution is to have her open for up-and-comer Juliette Barnes on tour. Juliette is a schemer and wants nothing more than to steal Rayna’s spotlight. Rayna thinks her real chance is in another young woman, undiscovered songwriter Scarlett O’Connor. While Rayna struggles with her career, her father is busy messing with her private life. Encouraging her husband to run for election to be mayor of Nashville – against her wishes.

I found out about Nashville via #LittleLoves linky, hosted by Morgana over at coffee work sleep. My sister in law also mentioned it to me and said I would really enjoy it. I managed to watch all 3 seasons ready for seasons 4 release. I was gutted when it was dropped by ABC but thankfully CMT picked it up. I’m half way through season 5. Its a corker of a show and the music is great. I could listen to the sound track all day long. There are lots of twists and turns and the cast is amazingly good. Definitely check it out!

Clay Jensen, a shy high school student, returns home from school to find he has received a package in the mail. It contains seven double-sided cassette tapes used by Hannah Baker, a classmate who has recently committed suicide. Each tape details a reason why she killed herself. The tapes were sent to various other people before arriving at Clay’s door. While listening to the tapes, Clay rides around town and visits the various places mentioned by Hannah. Finally coming to the 13 reasons why she killed herself.

I am only half way through this season and I have to admit, I am struggling with it. ALOT. I have heard great things about it and I really should carry on with it. I actually find it really depressing. Its definitely a tough watch and you have to be in the right frame of mind to watch it. You never know, I may have finished it by the time next months For The Love Of, TV goes live!

Do you have a favourite TV programme at the moment? Leave a comment below or blog about it and link up below! I am always looking for new Seasons to watch. If you have not watched the above I have blogged about then I would highly recommend you do. Obviously the last one wasn’t exactly a “you must watch” as I am uncertain with it myself!

FOR THE LOVE OF | VLOGS

I am back this week with my mini-series For The Love Of. I have decided to open it up as a linky, so if you fancy joining in then please do! This week its all about Vlogs! Since I began blogging, its evolved into not just blogging but vlogging. I am no way going to start my own vlog. I hate the sound of my voice on camera and I would only end up putting on some posh accent to try and distinguish the common Essex twang I have. Recently I have fallen hook line and sinker in love with watching other people speaking into a camera! Here are three of my favourite this month.

DEAR BEAUTIFUL

Lucy’s blog was one of the first ever blogs I started to read. I absolutely loved watching her videos she made up of adventures away. When I finally got round to subscribing to her YouTube channel I enjoyed getting the notifications that she had uploaded. My favourite videos are Lucy’s haul videos, The Big and Beautiful Moments, and more recently the Vlogs about Dear Beautiful house move. I am also a huge sucker for Day In The Life uploads and this channel does them spectacularly.

LETS TALK MOMMY

Oh I adore Jenny’s blog so it was only a matter of time before I fell for her YouTube channel. You can find all sorts over on her channel. Interviews with bloggers, Family Adventures, Day In The Life’s, How To’s {which are my favorite!} and lots more. This is one channel I find myself binge watching!

TIGERLILY QUINN

Fritha blogs at Tigerlilly Quinn and has set up her Youtube channel to run along side her blog. This is one of my favourites because Fritha is pretty damn honest in her videos. One particular video that always stands out is, when she had just had her little girl and her London day out didn’t go to plan. She captured her feelings on a video and it really did strike a cord, it was brave and brutally honest! You will find all sorts of videos over on the channel. Day In The life’s, Hauls, Holiday videos and general mum talk. Go check it out!

Do you have a favourite Vlog? Leave the link below, I am always looking for new channels to follow! If you have not checked out the channels I have blogged about then click on the links above to go straight to their page. If you enjoy them as much as me why don’t you subscribe to their channel too!
