FOR THE LOVE OF | TV

I am back this week with my mini-series For The Love Of. This week I am blogging about my love of TV and what I have been watching this past month. We are heading into autumn {as far as TV is concerned} and there is so much coming up which I cannot wait to start but before all that here are my top three TV programmes this month.

If you have not watched Ray, then your missing out on a treat. Season 5 is back and we are yet to start it. But I couldn’t not mention it this month. Basically this is a good binge worthy show. Mr B and I agreed we would build up the season on our planner. They finish on some remarkable cliff hangers and waiting a week is just not fair!

So whats it about? If you have not seen it then, Ray Donovan is a “fixer” for Hollywood’s elite. He is the go-to guy that the city’s celebrities, athletes and business moguls call to make their problems disappear. It’s a much more lucrative job than his previous work as a ruthless South Boston thug, vaulting him within reach of the truly wealthy and powerful. But no amount of money or the expensive things it can buy can completely mask Ray’s past, a past that continues to haunt him with troubled brothers always calling and his father’s recent release from 20 years spent in prison.

Now a free man, Ray’s father, Mickey, arrives in Los Angeles to get what he feels is rightfully his. Mickey’s desire to reconnect and settle old scores with his family — including Ray’s wife and kids, who have never met the family’s patriarch and are anxious to get to know him — threatens to destroy everything Ray has built for himself.

Sound good? You should definitely try and grab the first 4 seasons and watch them before starting out on season 5. Its so good and its one I highly recommend on watching.

This has been the must see show this month. The new BBC drama starring Jodie Whittaker. I was hooked from episode one and I am gutted its now over with. It was such a good drama and its the BBC at its best. Basically A hardworking nurse who loses her job for whistle-blowing is forced to take drastic measures to provide for her daughter. She steals the identity of a doctor, her best friend, to make a new life in Edinburgh. Its gripping and has you wanting more after each episode. Its a must see.

This is a BBC documentary series taking a detailed look at ambulance services, from the highly pressurised control rooms to the crews on the street. It is basically real life of the ambulance crew and what they do. Its an amazing program and it gives you a real insight in what they have to deal with daily. Its heart wrenching to watch and has some really very upsetting scenes, but I believe showing us this insight, we look at the NHS and the services in a completely different light. They really do deal with a lot and they do not get no where near enough credit. Its definitely one I recommend you tune into watching.

Do you have a favourite TV programme at the moment? Leave a comment below or blog about it and link up below! I am always looking for new Seasons or TV programmes to watch. If you have not watched the above I have blogged about then I would highly recommend you do.

I am back this week with my mini-series For The Love Of. This week I am blogging about my love of Vlogs and what I have been watching this past month, so here is my top three TV Vloggers this month. You can join in by linking up your favourites below.

First up is, Hannah Gale. I found this Vlog via this link up. Thank you very muchly mum reinvented! She shared her Blog in a For The Love Of and I checked Hannah out and I am addicted to her vlogs {in fact everything! Instagram, stories, blog, twitter!} I love the weekly vlogs and i especially loved her secret pregnancy video. She filmed her first few months in secret and then shared it to the world. I love the way Hannah films, I love the music, I love everything!

You probably guessed Hannah is pregnant, so she is vlogging about that, but she also does hauls, travel, weekly vlogs and general life goings-ons. It is one of my top five channels to watch and if you have not checked it out then please please do. I am subscribed to everything and love it when I get a notification that she has uploaded. Now I sound like a stalker!

I found this channel because of my love for Primark hauls. I’ve watched so many of them and I have become some saddo that indulges herself daily in a haul. I have only been watching Emma’s channel for about a month and so far I am really enjoying it. Emma vlogs about anything and everything. Room tours, hauls {which are my favourite!}, travel, food and days out. I love that its more relaxed than others and I feel like Emma is just sitting in my lounge talking to me rather than through a computer screen {does that make sense!} Its definitely a channel I have grown to love and I look forward to updates from Emma’s little family.

I have literally only been subscribed to Amy’s channel for a matter of weeks. I found it through another Vlogger and I love her updates of life as a mum. Again {you can see a pattern here!} Amy vlogs, hauls, day in the life’s, room tours, and lifestyle. I especially love the mum tip videos! They are so handy and very helpful! {the video above is genius!} I am currently making my way through the backlog of videos as I am so new to her channel. But I have been keeping track over on Insta-Stories! Amy is also part of the channel mum team, which is another great channel if you have not seen that one!

Do you have a favourite Vlog? Leave the link below, I am always looking for new channels to follow! If you have not checked out the channels I have blogged about then click on the links above to go straight to their page. If you enjoy them as much as me why don’t you subscribe to their channel too!

FOR THE LOVE OF | BLOGS

I am back this week with my mini-series For The Love Of. This week its all about Blogs! Its taken me sometime to pick my top three this week, I know eventually I will feature all my favourites on this little mini-series, but I still had a hard job picking! I have so many favourites. So here are my three for this month..

Halina is a parenting, foodie, beauty, lifestyle blogger who I found through Instagram. She is so honest when she writes and most recently has been blogging very openly about her personal struggle to fall pregnant and the very honest posts about miscarriage. Its definitely a topic which needs to be spoken about more and Halina found the courage to do so. You will find lots of recipe posts which look amazing and quite frankly ones I definitely want to try. The meal plan posts gives lots of inspiration for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Along with all of that, Halina is a full time working parent and she still manages to find time to blog, which I am pretty darn pleased about as I really do love her blog. Click the picture above to head over and check her out.

If you have not heard of The Unmumsy Mum, then where the hell have you been hiding all this time? I have to admit. I have only started reading her blog {and books} within the last year or so, but I have been an avid follower on Facebook for sometime. Sarah, basically gives her honest opinion on all things parenting. She will have you laughing out loud and sometimes that laughter may just turn to upset and tears. Sarah describes herself as an overshared and in my eyes, you can never share too much! The way she writes is just phenomenal. Sarah blogs about life with 2 boys and her husband. Recently she announced she was expecting baby number three which is such lovely news. Also she has got a spanky new website, so if you have not heard of her then pop over and see what she is all about, I promise you won’t regret it!

I found Dear Little Daisy via Facebook. Jodie, the lady behind the blog is a professional photographer and this shows across her blog as her photos are gorgeous. Jodie blogs about life with her little girl. The blog is an outlet for Jodies passions and everything that inspires her. As a family they like to travel and Jodie always has her trusty camera with her to document everything. Do click the image above to find out more about Dear Little Daisy.

Do you have a favourite Blog? Leave the link below, I am always looking for new ones to follow!
