sunday favourites | seven

Hello Sunday, I’m back with another weekly favourites of things I have been enjoying. I’m going to share 5 things that have stood out as being a favourite. Feel free to join in as well and tweet me your posts, I would love too read about what you have been enjoying this week.

One || Emergency Doctors. Last week I was a bit poorly. It started last weekend and although I managed to get through the weekend without any bother, Monday was a different story. I ended up at the doctors with an emergency appointment because I was in so much discomfort. Luckily I got seen and was prescribed some antibiotics. Its quite scary how quickly something can turn so dramatically. I am feeling so much better now though! I say it quite regularly, but Thank God for the NHS! We are so very very lucky to have it.

Two || Routine. My favourite thing in the world! Since having children my life has become somewhat of a routine and I live by it. The summer holidays were so so lovely and it was wonderful to be out of a routine and not have to stick by a “schedule”. I am really enjoying being back in a routine though. Something I have pinned for for the last week or so. I am a much happier person when routine is back in my life.

Three || Date Days. Ok, now Gracie and Henry are back at school and James is still working his summer shifts it means I get to spend a whole day with him one on one. This week we did the school run together and headed out to the shops. I mentioned last week we were finally getting back round to finishing the kitchen off. We ended up purchasing the tiles, and all things kitchen related. We also looked at dining tables which I am really really excited about! In-bwtween we stopped of for a bit of lunch, good ole Pizza Express. Its so nice to have a day together.

Four || School Run. It isn’t exactly a favourite but its played a huge part this week in my routine. We are back to the school run, which means me driving to drop them off and pick them up. I detest the school run, always have and I don’t think its something that I will ever like. I’d be that person who would get to the school ridiculously early, but I have promised myself I will not be doing that this year.  By day two I was fed up with battling for a car parking space!

Five || Early Morning Walks. I went for a very early walk this week with Fleur. So early the sun was still coming up. It was a really lovely morning and definitely smelt like Autumn. Only downside was I forgot about all the dew and the grass was soaking wet, and I wore the wrong footwear. So my toes were like shrivelled up prunes by the time I got home. I am enjoying getting back out early now we are back in a routine. Its nice to feel the Autumn air on your face.

You poor thing. Hope you’re feeling much better now. I must admit I’m enjoying the whole back to school routine, even the dreaded school run and the kids are enjoying it, that’s the main thing. Hope this week is better for you x
