sunday favourites | week six

Hello Sunday, I’m back with another weekly favourites of things I have been enjoying. I’m going to share 5 things that have stood out as being a favourite. Feel free to join in as well and tweet me your posts, I would love too read about what you have been enjoying this week. Would you like to join in? If so, let me know and I can open it up as a weekly linky?

One || The Autumnal Feels. Now we are in September, albeit it only being a few days, I am already loving the cooler nights. I noticed this week by 8pm the nights were getting darker and I actually had to have a light on in the lounge so I wasn’t sitting in complete darkness whilst watching TV! I cannot wait to light the fire and snuggle under a blanket – not just yet though as we are expecting some rather lovely weather throughout the month of September!

Two || Woodwick Candles. I mentioned on my last Sunday Favourites that it was too early for candles, but I changed my mind! The evenings have definitely shown some Autumn Vibes! I was always a Yankee candle kind of girl. A few years ago, I bought my mum a candle for her birthday. I picked one up this year whilst on holiday {as you do} and its been on my mantel piece waiting for me to light it. Its the most gorgeous scent and I lit it this week. Oh the days of candles are back! Who doesn’t love a good candle. Ive definitely been converted to Woodwick, I still very much love a yankee candle though!

Three || Clean Bed Linen. Oh the smell is just divine when you crawl into a clean, freshly made bed. My favourite part of the week when the beds get changed. You have a bath and jump into bed. Nothing better.  Also, nothing better than a cold pillow. I bloody love a cold pillow.

Four || Kitchen Progress. If you have followed my blog or Instagram you will know we were doing a kitchen renovation. Now we had to put that on hold because that endless pot of money we never had, had run out. Its been a long few months and we have decided that it really needs doing, so with that in mind, we are going to complete it. To be honest, not much more needs doing. Tiling, floor, plastering and painting and then buying a new dining table so we can finally all sit out there and enjoy meals times as a family! Very excited! {and maybe replacing our broken dishwasher as my hands are seriously knackered after washing up!}

Five || This one. You know, Im so thankful for this one. He is literally my rock. The past few years have been tough, so very tough, but he is always there by my side. I thank my lucky stars that I met him when I did. Im so thankful that he walked into that cinema where I worked, after walking out on an interview and applied for a job. I am also so bloody thankful he drove me home that cold winters night, because if he didn’t then I would not have fallen madly in love with him. I freaking adore him.
