The Mummy Tag
I have been tagged by Sian over at Potty Mouthed Mummy for a continuous tag to get to know other bloggers. I have tagged five more at the end of this post, so hopefully you will join in too!
1. Are you a Stay at Home Mum, or a Working Mum?
I am a stay at home mum. I always plan to go back part time when my youngest starts school next year.
2. Would you have it any other way?
I wouldn’t have it any other way no, its hard work, but definitely rewarding.
3. Do you co-sleep?
No. We went through a bad stage with Moo that lasted a few months and she shared the bed with us, but then the little boy arrived and so did some bunk beds and she snapped out of it pretty quickly. Moo only ever joins us in bed now if she is ill.
4. What is your one must-have item for your baby?
5. How many kids do you plan on having?
Just the two. I am happy with Moo and the little boy. I only ever wanted to have one but my broodiness kicked in and we decided to have another.
6. Date nights? How many do you have per month?
My kind of date night is snuggling on the sofa! We do that often, but going out is very rare as its hard to get childcare. We have lovely days out though on special occasions, and we make the most of them and cherish them even more.
7. Your child’s favourite show?
Moo has lots! Sofia The First, Doc McStuffin, Sarah and Duck, the list could go on! The little boy loves Thomas and Friends and Jake and The Netherland Pirates
8. Name one thing you brought before you had the baby and never ended up using?
I can’t remember that far back! But we did buy a baby bath which was very rarely used, we ended up bathing them in the big tub or the sink!
9. Your child’s favourite food?
This is tricky! Moo is extremely fussy, her favourite dinner is a roast, she loves yorkshire puddings and would quite happily eat a plate full of them! The little boy loves carrots, he eats rather well!
10. How many cars does your family have?
11. Weight gain, before pregnancy, during, after and now?
Gosh! This is a tough one… I put on nearly 3 stone with Moo, I managed to loose it and a little more and was completely happy with how I felt and looked, I think I was like that for one month and I fell pregnant. I was much more aware of my weight gain with my second pregnancy and didn’t eat everything in sight. I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight before I fell the second time. I am happy and not to fussed about what I eat now. I would like to tone up though!
12. Dream holiday with your kids?
Has to be Florida. Moo would love it, maybe one day….
13. Dream holiday without your kids?
The Maldives, or Dubai, or even Australia.
15. Finish the sentence “It makes heart melt when…”
Moo and the Little Boy play together, or are generally being nice to each other!
16. Where do you shop for your kids?
For Moo we tend to shop in John Lewis, for the Little Boy its will be John Lewis or Next.
17. Favourite make-up and skincare products?
I am not one for branded makeup, I just used to use Clinique pre-children and I swore by it. Made my skin so soft, but now I use a Garnier moisturiser and high street branded make-up
18. Huggies or Pampers?
I used pampers, but know we have successfully potty trained the Little Boy I have moved to Sainsburys own for the night-time, which are just as good!
19. Have you always wanted kids?
Yes, I only ever wanted one, but I felt guilty about having just one so we decided to have a second. I am pleased we did, it finished our family off and makes it complete.
20. Best part of being a mum?
Everything, even the tears and tantrums, they always do something that will put a smile on you face even when your at breaking point.
