Fairtrade is about better prices, decent working conditions, local sustainability, and fair terms of trade for farmers and workers in the developing world.

I am sure you are all aware when you do your weekly shop about that little logo you see on the coffee jar, bananas, bar of chocolate, jams and spreads, beer, and many more daily basics, but this week I found gifts for kids by traidcraft

I was actually amazed at how good they look and not only that how much of a selection they had! You do pay that little bit extra with Fairtrade and you probably could find them cheaper BUT the money spent goes to such a good cause and helps families stay alive in conditions harder than most of us can imagine.

I love some of their wooden transport vehicles, including the Fire Engine, The Red Bus and The Taxi, and with a little boy turning 2 soon there are many things could choose from!

This really is a lovely gift site for children’s gift and definitely one I shall be using in the future.
