FOR THE LOVE OF | INSTAGRAM

FOR THE LOVE OF | INSTAGRAM

I am back this week with my mini-series For The Love Of. This week its all about Instagram. I love this social networking platform and I don’t use it half as much as I should, but I love keeping up to date with all my favourites. So here are my three for this month.

A post shared by Carly (@acupfullofglitter) on

This Instagram account is quite frankly, gorgeous. Its full of two of my favourite things, tea and flowers with the odd family picture thrown in. Carly has a hashtag #myhomein and every month she writes up a post on her blog {a cup full of glitter} and shares her favourite pictures from Instagram. Whenever I see new posts pop up on my feed from Carly I always smile. Her pictures are always so bright and colourful. Click the picture above to head straight over and give her a follow.

The lady behind this Insta-feed is amazing. She documents life as a parent of five boys and I cannot get enough at how gorgeous they all are. I first found this feed through the “videos you may like” whilst searching for someone else and I have been hooked ever since. She was pregnant with twins and I was basically insta-stalking her till she had her babies! I love her stories up-dates too. Faye makes parenting look easy peasy! I find two hard, let alone five!! Go check her feed out!

A post shared by Gregory Stanton (@london_dad) on

Gregory is the photographer behind London Dad. Quite frankly this is such a beautiful feed. Most photos are taken in black and white, which is my most favourite filter. Its makes for a very different insta-account. London Dads feed is basically a joyous collection of family photos, travelling and generally life as a dad living in London. I am sure you have heard of him, No? Go check him out then!

Do you have a favourite Instagrammer? Leave the link below, I am always looking for new feeds to follow! If you have not checked out the above I have blogged about then click on the links above to go straight to their page. You won’t regret it! If you enjoy them as much as me why don’t you give them a like too!

FOR THE LOVE OF | BLOGS

FOR THE LOVE OF | BLOGS

I am back this week with my mini-series For The Love Of. This week its all about Blogs! Its taken me sometime to pick my top three this week, I know eventually I will feature all my favourites on this little mini-series, but I still had a hard job picking! I have so many favourites. So here are my three for this month..

Halina is a parenting, foodie, beauty, lifestyle blogger who I found through Instagram. She is so honest when she writes and most recently has been blogging very openly about her personal struggle to fall pregnant and the very honest posts about miscarriage. Its definitely a topic which needs to be spoken about more and Halina found the courage to do so. You will find lots of recipe posts which look amazing and quite frankly ones I definitely want to try. The meal plan posts gives lots of inspiration for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Along with all of that, Halina is a full time working parent and she still manages to find time to blog, which I am pretty darn pleased about as I really do love her blog. Click the picture above to head over and check her out.

If you have not heard of The Unmumsy Mum, then where the hell have you been hiding all this time? I have to admit. I have only started reading her blog {and books} within the last year or so, but I have been an avid follower on Facebook for sometime. Sarah, basically gives her honest opinion on all things parenting. She will have you laughing out loud and sometimes that laughter may just turn to upset and tears. Sarah describes herself as an overshared and in my eyes, you can never share too much! The way she writes is just phenomenal. Sarah blogs about life with 2 boys and her husband. Recently she announced she was expecting baby number three which is such lovely news. Also she has got a spanky new website, so if you have not heard of her then pop over and see what she is all about, I promise you won’t regret it!

I found Dear Little Daisy via Facebook. Jodie, the lady behind the blog is a professional photographer and this shows across her blog as her photos are gorgeous. Jodie blogs about life with her little girl. The blog is an outlet for Jodies passions and everything that inspires her. As a family they like to travel and Jodie always has her trusty camera with her to document everything. Do click the image above to find out more about Dear Little Daisy.

START OF THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS,IN THE DARK, NOSE PIERCINGS | LITTLE LOVE 27/52

START OF THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS,IN THE DARK, NOSE PIERCINGS | LITTLE LOVE 27/52

Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat.

School is officially out for the summer and I could not be happier! Today we are on full on summer holiday mode. G is off to a sleepover to celebrate and I am going to just have a chilled day with H. I have been on countdown to this day since the start of term and now its here! It was a sad day yesterday finishing school. This school year has flown by!!

Without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

Again, nothing really to shout about. Ive been reading my book {still! – Im a very slow reader at the moment} I also read goodbye newsletters from the school for the end of term. Something strange about the end of the school year, I always get teary and emotional. I am so going to miss both G and H’s teachers next year. Both have been fantastic and I just wish I could of had them again for another year.

I have watched quite a bit this week. The two programmes that stand out are BBC1’s In The Dark. It consists of two separate two-part stories centring around detective Helen Weeks. In the first two-parter, Helen finds out that she is pregnant and becomes involved in a case in which the husband of her childhood best friend is accused of kidnapping two young girls. In the second two-parter, a heavily pregnant Helen is pulled into the dark side of urban Manchester as she deals with an unexpected tragedy. The first two episodes were really good, I saw a sneak peek of the 3rd and I am in two minds as to whether it will work. I enjoyed the storyline of the first two and I have a strange feeling the following two episodes are about something completely different. We will see.

Secondly I watched the channel 5 documentary on Sarah Payne. Obviously it was hard viewing. I remember her abduction so well. It was the first abduction {other than James Bulgar} I was fully aware of. It was such an awful chain of events and such an extremely awful outcome. Cannot believe it was 17 years ago.

I have heard this song on the radio a few times now and Its one I always take time to listen to the words. Its such a lovely song and Ed can really do no wrong in my eyes when it comes to song writing. It makes me a little teary when listening.

Those that follow me on Instagram will know that I have been wearing a nose stud! Yep, I finally bit the bullet and went and gone my nose pierced. I have wanted to have it done for years. In fact I wanted it done when I was 16 but my mum point blank refused and said no. So typically I rebelled and when I was 18 I went one step further and got my belly button pierced as, my thinking at the time, she would not have been able to see it! She did and she went mad. On Monday I called her and I told her what I had done, thinking she would blow her top, yes I know Im 34 and still worry what my mum thinks! She was fine. She is yet to see it in the flesh though! I love it and I am so glad I took the plunge and got it done. If you want to know if it hurt, well yes it did, but, my pain threshold is zero to none!

Nothing to shout about this week {again}. G and H made some lovely magnets to give to their teachers as a thank you. They drew a flower and signed it. I popped them into a clear fridge magnet case and voila. Two easy peasy teachers gifts to accompany a bottle of plonk.

I have started a weekly Mini-Series called For The Love Of, I know a few people have read it and said they like the idea of it being a linky!  If you would like to share with me what you have been enjoying, next weeks topic is Blogs, just pick three Bloggers your loving this month and write a brief description about it. I am always looking for new blogs to follow so if you want to join in you can! The topics change weekly from Vlogs, Blogs, Instagram and TV.. If its your thing I would love to see you link up!

What ever your up to, have a wonderful weekend!

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,
