Last year I started a linky called For The Love Of. It was basically a weekly round up of blogs, vlogs, instagram and TV that I was loving. I have decided to continue with the basis of the linky, but have now changed it to […]

When people see G and I together, they often say, “She looks just like you.” She is literally the double of me and as she gets older, the more I see it. I was never able to see the resemblance. But now on occasions she will walk past me and I will see glimpse of myself. She has certain facial expressions she pulls and it is so animated, its like looking at a mirror. Family traits fascinate me.
I am not sure whether it is a good thing or a bad thing that she resembles me so much. I love watching her and picking out the genes that she has got from me and then also spotting those of her dad. One being her height, for a nine year old she has the longest legs. She will soon tower over me. She most definitely gets that gene from her dad! Its fascinating and so intriguing.
I am linking up with Donna over at What The Redhead Said for this linky. I am hoping I can join in weekly! One of many new years resolutions!
I am back with my monthly Snapshots and Scenes. I’ll be honest, I am not feeling this months video. I think it’s because we have had a full month of sickness and not much getting out and about. So out of my video was filmed at home. Not very inspiring. I wanted to keep up with the linky so I put a quick video together.
Unlike December, January has been the slowest month, ever. It really has dragged and I was never aware of how slow January would pass us by, until now. Its funny, because, all though I like the slowness of the month, it feels like February has taken an age to arrive.
As I said, January has been full of sickness, and flu. H got hit pretty badly with the horrible flu virus and he spent the best part of a whole week in bed. Then G was unwell and then Mr B was ill. Its been a pretty boring month in terms of getting out and about. But now we are all better and are virus free, I plan to get out and enjoy the brisk cold air and the remaining of the winter months.
Its has been a month of pyjamas, book reading, lounging on the sofa, playing Lego Dimensions, building Lego, designing and making my new coffee table and drinking lots of tea!
Please do check out the video at the end of the post and please don’t forget to subscribe! I would love to build up my YouTube channel throughout 2018!

Last year I started a linky called For The Love Of. It was basically a weekly round up of blogs, vlogs, instagram and TV that I was loving. I have decided to continue with the basis of the linky, but have now changed it to monthly posts. The TV section I have taken away from the linky and I am having it as a stand alone post every month. A round up of what I have been watching through-out the previous month. I really hope you get some inspiration on some good TV to watch. If you have any recommendations then please do leave them in the comments below as I am always on the lookout for new programmes to watch! So without too much waffling, this is what I have been watching this month!
This was something I actually watched throughout December. I was hooked from start to finish. I came across it on Netflix one day and I managed to watch it within a few days. The Sinner, starring Jessica Biel, follows the story of young mother, Cora, who on the surface appears to be living a happy, idyllic life. But one day, out of nowhere, she stabs a stranger to death in front of horrified beach-goers, leaving investigators to try and figure out what made her commit such a heinous crime for, what seems like, no reason. Jessica Biel stars as Cora Tannetti the main lead and she excels at it. I was drawn in from the get go. Since watchingI have been recommending it to people ever since. Its a must watch!
I am so late to the game with this programme, but I am really enjoying indulging myself in it. Suits is an American legal drama television series. It is set at a fictional law firm in New York City. The focal point of the show follows talented college dropout Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), who initially works as a law associate for Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), despite never actually attending law school. The show focuses on Harvey and Mike managing to close cases while maintaining Mike’s secret.
This has only aired over the last few weeks and we are only half way through the series. Next Of Kin is a great fast paced family thriller. Whip-smart GP Mona Shirani lives a charmed life at the heart of a loving family living in London. But she is left grief-stricken when her much-loved brother is brutally murdered whilst working for a medical charity overseas. As the death brings buried family secrets to light, Mona is drawn deep into a tangle of betrayal, conspiracy and murder. One way or another, she must find a way of protecting herself, her family and her career as they are all put at risk. Its definitely a must see if you have not watched it.
