The Near Death Of Flopsy…

Moo has a teddy, a rabbit in fact, it was a lovely pink rabbit when it was new but now its a tatty ole thing. It goes everywhere with her, even if its not attached to her, it has to still be there, whether it be in the bag or in my pocket. Tonight we go to the doctors and as we are walking back we are discussing the activities and a car comes along the road. It was not a busy road, its one of those roads that look like pavements but are intact roads that are in new build estates, the estate we live is tiny and not that busy, so the car let us go, we hurried across, but Flopsy got left behind, in the road, the car was in fact pulling in to their drive way unknown to Moo, but she thought Flopsy had, had it! Tears, high pitched screams

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo, My Flopsy…………

I ran back to retrieve her and she hugged her so tightly to her heart I realised just how much she loved her Flopsy bear! It means the world to her. She sniffled all the way home, with silent sobs and remarks of

The car mummy… Flopsy Mummy…

The car would of never have run her over, as I ran madly waving my arms like a mad women. If it was all slowed down and could be watched back in slow motion it would be ace!

As you can imagine Flopsy has not left her side since…

It lovely that she is so attached, but I do worry that she will never detach herself now! She couldn’t wait to tell daddy all about it when he arrived in from work!!

Thanks for the comment and stopping by!

Drama! If you could watch it back it would probably be hilarious but I know how terribly serious it would have been for your little one. I’m so glad Flopsy survived. Lovely to find your blog from Mummy’s Little Monkey’s ‘Blow Your Own Blog Horn’ linky x

Hello! Popping over from BYOB! This little tale warms my frostbitten heart. My oldest loved her beany George Pig like this. So much so we had to buy Emergency Spare George. Unfortunately he was discovered. Now she deeply loves Twin George’s. hey ho!

We thought about buying “extras” in the likelihood that these events would happen but we couldn’t find the same bunny anywhere! Typical really!!

      Thanks for popping by! 🙂
