The Little Boy… {2 Years 2 Months}

You gave me the inspiration to write these posts, this morning, you tapped my knee and asked me too come with you, and happily stood on your tippy toes and switched the light switch and said

Did it

This sent a shiver down my spine, when did you get so big? so tall in fact? I always knew you would be tall, you dad is over 6ft and your sister takes after him so it only make sense your going to follow in his footsteps!

As well as growing, you are really starting to become your own little person. You have your own little personality which I love. You currently run EVERYWHERE. I love the way you sit in the window and wave goodbye to daddy of a morning, I love the way rub you thumb over your lip when you tired, or concentrating, I love the way you love your food, you set an example to your sister!

You have just started to drop your afternoon nap, although you do tend to nap on the sofa but not for long. If you fall asleep in the car we tend to have problems, you don’t wake up well little man (this is where you take after you dad) This is the only time you really do throw a mahoosive paddy! Getting you inside the house is a bit of a struggle without being head butted or kicked!

You have also started to use the toilet! all of your own accord! you asked one day and produced a wee! I am going with it but not doing the whole potty training just yet, I am hanging of till your sister starts school in a few weeks. You can poo quite a lot, you are known as “the 6 times a day boy”.. You cost me a fortune in nappies and wipes!

You, like your sister are a good sleeper and will sleep from 7 till 7, which is always good news for mummy and daddy!

There are a few things you love

  • Iggle piggle (which was your sisters, but you grew attached to him, so she kindly gave him to you)
  • Your bed
  • Mummy Cuddles
  • Sleeping in the car
  • Fireman Sam
  • Cake
  • Your thumb

I am going to make this a regular thing and write regular posts “The Little Boy” and “The Little Girl” These will contain little snippets about what Moo and Thor like/enjoy/milestones they are reaching, so its  a memory, so I don’t forget, time is precious and time goes too quickly.

      Thank you. It is lovely to see them learning new things, he seemed so chuffed with himself regarding the light switch! My electric bill is not going to be too happy though!!

      Thanks for popping by x
