I was not a great fan of school. I was not really the one with loads of friends. I did not really come out of my shell until I was actually leaving school! To be fair, I only have a few friends on my Facebook page that I went to school with, and I only ever see 2 that I went to school with, which I am quite proud of, keeping friendships for that long is hard!
I am a shy, reserved person and come across as a moody, grumpy madam, (just ask the husband!) But when I open up and start to relax around people I believe that I can truly be a good friend, a shoulder to cry on or someone to just have a giggle with.
I am now back in the playground. I am not loving it so far, already you see the cliques and the huddles of parents whispering behind there hands and to be honest I am really not a fan, and it sends me right back to my school days! Don’t get me wrong, I love a good gossip like everyone else, but there is only so much that
1. should be said
2. You should tell people (incase of chinese whispers!)
It is all about competition in my eyes, you hear it on a daily basis already and you can spot the pushy mothers a mile of. I am actually scared! Comparing what child can do what and how far on there homework they managed to get. To me its silly and quite frankly mean!
Moo, has moved on to school, with everyone that was in her play-school class. I got to know a few mums, but actually never spoke to a lot of them, they either looked down at you or already knew other mums. Its difficult making new friends and not something I am good at! As I said before people look at me and think stroppy cow! (I am working on that!!) I have made a few friends though I a feel that these friends will become life long friends (I hope).
With Moo being in this school for 7 years I will be spending a lot of time with these mummies, and I either suck it up and accept them for what they are, or keep my self to myself and live a lonely life for the next 7 years!
I know for sure, I am not a fan of playground tactics!
