Wednesday we packed the car with a picnic and took ourselves of to Legoland Windsor. It was supposed to be the best day of the week, but although it didn’t rain, it was overcast all day! We saved the Kellogg’s vouchers so it was a bit cheaper to get in!

A few traffic jams later and a few chapters on the book read, we arrived and Moo was overly excited and saw the rapids and said eagerly she wanted to go on it, off she went with the husband whilst I waited, on there return the husband looked liked he had had a bucket of water thrown over him and Moo look petrified! No more water rides for her then!

We walked around and went on more rides and spent lots of family time together which is so rare these days. The sun poked out every now and then but not long enough to dry the husband.

Moo loved the dragon roller coaster and as there were no queues she would go on and on repeatedly. It was such a nice fun filled day. We had to stop of for lunch and then try some more rides and look at some lego builds!

We also stopped by the new Duplo splash park but unfortunately it was a tad chilly to actually go in it! but we played in the new park and Thor enjoyed the rides whilst Moo enjoyed the slides! (she has an obsession with slides)

And then it was home time! It went so quickly, before we knew it, it was 4:45! and gates were closing. I was gutted the weather was not nice enough for the splash park, but, both Moo and Thor both enjoyed what we managed in the day, and we came home with some great merchandise!
