From 47 to 45…

Last week, we said goodbye to our family flat and said hello to a family house! These last few months have been so tedious and the stress it has piled upon us was just awful.

Number 47… You will be missed!

Number 45… Lots of new¬†memories to be made!

Finally after 7 months we were able to say goodbye to our pokey 2 bed flat and with open arms we embraced our wonderful 3 bedroom family home. Just less than a week later we have fitted in perfectly. Boxes are unpacked and we are already planning on what we are going to do to it to make it our own. Nothing structural, its perfect in that sense. Every room just needs a lick of paint. The bathroom needs a bath, as it only houses a shower, and the garden needs re-landscaping. Luckily its clean and liveable.. Something I wanted as I couldn’t bear to move into somewhere with lots to be done straight away!

I feel so relieved its happened, we were so close to having to start all over again! But somehow, it all fell into place, and although it was all very last minute, only giving us 2 days to sort out removals, I am glad it happened when it did!

Moo and H, love it, they have so much more space now than they have ever had, and although there are a few issues about being left up stairs to play, or not wanting to play in the garden solo, they will soon work it out and it will all fall into place!

So here is to number 45! *raises a glass*

Awa, congratulations on a successful move. And if it helps, we have always lived in the same house since my daughter was born, and at 4.5 she still won’t play upstairs if I am downstairs, or vice versa. Xx

Yay yippee and more yay – I’m both thrilled for you and hugely relieved that it all finally came off – enjoy settling into your lovely new home!
