Living Arrows 7/52

I am a week behind on living arrows, I forgot to link up last week! I blame half term…

When I had children, within the first year I thought of all the things they would eventually play with and one of the things i was most excited about was Lego! When I was little I had a huge box full of the stuff and I absolutely loved it.. I didn’t care that it was all mixed up..

Being a parent of two who now have quite a collection of Lego, it bugs the hell out of me when its not together.. I know its all about imagination if its just sitting in a box, but I love to see them playing with the actual building, or the built cars. It takes me back to when I was a child when I sit there and rebuild the trashed Cinderella castle or the beaten up Police Station!

Its part of childhood, to trash it all though isn’t it?

  1. This is so organized. Having all the manual in 1 envelope is a great idea that I will try to do right about now =) #livingarrows

  2. Trashing is the order of play round these parts at the moment. I love the building something and playing with it, Bubs not so much. The other day beautiful multistory supermarket got smashed to smithereens. Not that I’m bitter about it or anything… :-)

  3. We don’t have any of the organised lego structures, just lots of lego that they create different things of each time. You’re very organised. My mother-in-law brought up my husbands old lego last week. That made him and the children so happy, as well as her watching them all play. Must bring back so many memories. Great pictures #livingarrows

  4. My brother and I loved Lego as a kid and my two do too. I find the stuff everywhere though – most annoying has been rolling over to find some in my bed! You’re right though, it’s all part of the fun! x
