Zombie Marathon, The Rose, Banana Bars… Little Loves 23/52

Happy Friday peeps… Another week has passed and its time for another little catch up with all the lovely bloggers that link up with Morgana and their #littleloves

With a slightly better week than the previous and finally saying a goodbye to my nan, its been an emotional and hard week, but I am really trying to stay positive!

I am a bit late to the game on this weeks Little Love as its been pretty full on, but here are a few things I have been loving..

Read

My inner magazine freak came out of me this week and I have managed to do really well and curb my spending habits on trashy magazines, but this week I had to get the latest Hello! magazine and read up on the Essex wedding of the year {so they put it!} Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan finally got married and it was a lovely read, she look beautiful!

Watched

Last night I watched, The Truth About… Your Teeth {BBC}. It was horrific, and I honestly cannot fathom why people don’t look after them.. I know dentists are scary. I think Teeth tell you a lot about someone and they proved that in last nights episode! Some of the stories were not nice! Its on iPlayer if you didn’t catch it!

I {should I say we} have started the Walking Dead… again…. yes! I wanted to do a full run, from beginning to end, hoping by the time we finish, we will be close to the new season starting so my mind will be fresh of the story.. I have to admit, its better this time round {especially in all its HD, BLU-RAY glory!}

Heard

There are no words to describe this piece of music, it touched my heart when I heard it this week and although I knew the song, I can’t stop listening to the instrumental version. It was perfect for my nan, and its found a space on my spotify list…

Wore

Sun Cream!! Oh the smell of sun cream is just summer to me.. Its finally arrived and I am happy… I have also been wearing some summer clothing at long last! The coat has been put away for good now!

Made

We made some banana and chocolate chip bars last weekend, you can read the recipe here. They were delicious and so easy to make. They didn’t last very long!

‘And lastly..’

Oh so true….

Albus

I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!

  • Harry Potter quotes are so brilliant 🙂 makes me want to read through them all..! André Rieu does such beautiful music, it’ll always remind me of my Nana too, she introduced me to his music. Those banana and chocolate bars look fab, bookmarking that one, thanks for sharing. Hope you have a restful weekend xx

  • I cannot wait to watch The Truth About Teeth! I LOVE stuff like that!!!! Even though it’s horrific! I’m going to save that piece of music for a peaceful moment and listen to it properly. Thanks so much for sharing it, I’ll look forward to it. WAHOO for sun cream! 🙂 xxxx

  • I’m very jealous you got to wear sumcream, Ireland seems to have forgotten it’s summer! The kids will have grown out of their summer clothes before they have even had a chance to wear them!
So sorry about your nan,it’s never easy, no matter what age they are. And the teeth thing- I agree, it’s the first thing I notice in people!! Have a lovely weekend xxxx
