WILDE LIKE ME, LONDON TOWN, PUPPY PAMPERING | LITTLE LOVES 33/52

Its S A T U R D A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat. { a day late for me as my week has been pretty full on!}

We have made the most of our last full week of the summer holidays. I cannot believe we are at the end and next Tuesday we are back in the routine of pack lunch making, school runs and after school clubs. The past few weeks have flown by. We have had a wonderful six weeks off and I think both G and H are ready to head straight back into the new academic year! I am looking forward t getting back into my routine as six weeks is a long time to be out of it!

Without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

I’ve given up on The Escape for now. I was really enjoying it, but I wanted a light hearted read which was easy and not too in depth. I went to Costco this week and picked about Louise Pentland’s first novel, Wilde Like Me. Its shaping up to be a really good read and so far I am really enjoying it. I will definitely be going back to re-read The Escape.

I’m not sure if you have read my post this week. I wouldn’t normally use this section as a link drop, but I think its really important. The reason I wrote about it is because I read an article and it made me so cross and and so angry I decided to put my story out there. I didn’t know what Skin Cancer looked like and I decided to finally show you, my readers what my melanoma looked like. I am really quite self conscious about the scar, so this was a pretty out there thing for me to do, but do you know what skin cancer looks like?

I’ll be honest I wasn’t going to, but I fell right into the British Bake Off hype. I was dead against boycotting, but I just couldn’t resist and I am so glad I did tune in. I’ve got to say, its exactly the same which is great as I was worried it would have had a massive over haul. I am not sure about the presenters, but over the course of the next few weeks I am sure I will get used to that! Did you watch it? What did you think?

I have been watching quite a few Vlogs this week. I caught up with Lucy over at Dear Beautiful. She did two videos which involved her children. An Interview With.. I loved this and both were really sweet. I am sharing the video where she interviewed her son and I literally melted when he was asked what do you like most about mummy? His reply is just wonderful and made me choke up a little. I won’t give it away, you will have to watch it to find out!

Firstly this week, I heard that our cat had managed to embed a grass dart in her eye! Mr B went to the garage the other morning and our neighbour told us she had a weeping eye. We called up the vet immediately as we were worried she had been in a fight and when we saw her, she couldn’t open her eye. It was very weepy and not very nice looking. Mr B took her in and he was not expecting the vet to say she had something in it, with that she then pulled it out from under her eyelid! Luckily she has had no damage to her eye and she is on the road to recovery! Pets! ever since we got Fleur we have never visited the vet so often!

Secondly last night we heard the biggest thunder storm of the summer so far. It was pretty loud. H got a tad scared so he ended up in bed with me and Mr B was booted out to H’s bed. I must admit, the sky literally lit up. It was pretty spectacular. As H was in our bed, I also heard him fall out! I was a bit dazed and so was he to be fair, he said he hurt his back as he went down!

Nothing again to really shout about here. Its been really warm this week so I have been making the most of dresses, sandals, shorts and anything else summery I can get away with wearing before its all packed away!

We made the trip up to London this week. Its been planned for ages and its been something we have all been looking forward to. We visited the southbank which is currently hosting a Lego exhibition called The Art Of The Brick: DC Superheros. It was fantastic and have life like models of DC heroes made out of Lego. Its open till the 10th September so if you can get there before it closes then I really recommend going if you’re a Lego fan! London is such a beautiful city and one I don’t visit enough. I literally live so close to it too. A 30 minute train ride takes me to the centre. There is a certain vibe about the city that

Fleur went for her first puppy pamper session today. She smells amazing. She was in desperate need of a trim round her face and a feet tidy up. I was a bit worried they would cut way too much off, but she looks adorable and we can now see her eyes! She is definitely a pampered pooch! Dropping her off was not great, it was like dropping a child at nursery and although she didn’t look back, Mr B and I were a little sad to let her go! She looked like a huge cuddly teddy bear when we went to pick her up!

What ever your up to, have a wonderful weekend!

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,
