Warm Welcomes, Cinema Trips, Downpours… Little Love 18/52

Happy Friday peeps… Another week has passed and its time for another little catch up with all the lovely bloggers that link up with Morgana and their #littleloves

What a horrid week weather wise?? It started of rather bright, but its turned bitterly cold and we have had such a downpour I had to dig the brollies back out!! I seriously hope the warmer weather is going to come back, like soon!!

This is what I have been loving this week!

I read the wonderful news that Triona over at alittlelonder welcomed her second baby, a boy! It was lovely to see it pop up in my Instagram feed and it you want to catch her latest blog post about baby Harry you can read it here..

Last Friday I received H’s welcome pack from his school in Moo’s book bag.. I got so emotional reading it.. They made each letter so personal to H which I think was lovely and I still cannot quite believe he is starting school in September

I stated to watch Safe House {ITV} but after 5 minutes thought better of it, thinking it would be scary! Someone later told me how good it was so I gave it another go and it really is a good program.. I am left wanting more which is always a good sign!

Me and Moo went to see Cinderella at the weekend {and the Mr took H to see Home at the same time} I cried most of the way through it, It really upset me and I got quite emotional over it.. When I told the hubs he thought I was weird.. I must be hormonal!

So after watching Cinderella I came home and listened to the soundtrack. I actually really like it and have had it on loop practically all week..

I have also been listening to this

and this

My hormones have definitely been raging this week as every time I listen to “See You Again” I cry.. I used to watch the furious films, but thought they got rather silly, this song is just beautiful and it such a sad ending to such a huge franchise.. I may have to give them all a go..

This week has been awful, I have had to dig out the wellies and coats and its utterly depressing.. I honestly though spring was most definitely here, but obviously not! I am pinning for the warmer weather.. I forgot to wear my coat on Tuesday {it looked nice out – very deceiving!} and I was FREEZING!!

I made a hole in my favourite cardigan.. right in the elbow too! The husband does not get it and although its about 10 years old I am rather upset I now have to throw it away.. It was everything a I wanted from a cardigan, the right length, colour and style. I am going to have to hunt for something similar to keep me happy!!

I have not made it yet, but I will be making a cheeky cheesecake for our weekend out to friends..

‘And lastly..’

This week has been tough, Moo has been really hard to handle and her mood swings have been unbearable. I am beginning to feel like a failure as a parent as I can’t help but loose my cool. I am hoping a 3 day weekend and some chill time will help and some calm conversations along with that too!

We do have plans this weekend to visit friends, and I really hope the weather holds out! Whatever you all do, I hope its a lovely May bank holiday!

Oh gosh I can’t even contemplate how emotional I’ll be when I send H to school next year. Eek. It has been chilly, I’m actually wearing a coat today brrr. Right I need to listen to this song if you and Morgana have mentioned it!! Xxx

Wow fantastic songs here hunny. Love your music. I am not very good at listening to new stuff unless recommended. These are great. I really want to see Cinderella. Sounds great. Even if I have to go solo. lol Great #littleloves

Don’t feel like a failure! You’re doing the best you can 🙂
I can’t wait to see Cinderella! I haven’t got anyone to go to the cinema with though so I guess I’ll be waiting for the blu-ray.
    Have a lovely weekend xx

Wasn’t Cinderella just so lovely? I wish they’d remake all the Disney films the same way. Just really magical! It’s so, so cold at the moment. Sitting here looking out it looks gorgeous. And then you step outside and it’s bitter! I’ve no idea where our lovely May weather is! Have a great bank holiday weekend lovely xxx

Just watched the video for see you again and got a little emotional. I only saw the first couple of films but it’s so sad when anyone loses their life. So jealous you’ve seen Cinderella I had tickets with a friend and her family but the hubby got trapped in a job at work and didn’t get back in time to look after little B so missed it! Don’t feel like a bad mummy we all go through it when patience is minimal and we are all doing a damn good job (we just have to remember it) xx

Ooh I’m desperate to see Cinderella! And those songs are great, not heard either before. Hope you have a lovely weekend x

I cried at Cinderella too! and then I started thinking about it again driving home and couldn’t stop crying. My husband wondered what an earth was wrong when I got home and I was just like: “It was so lovely!”…slightly ridiculous. I think we have the same taste in music – LOVING these two songs!!! Thanks for sharing. It’s been bad for mood swings in our house too – don’t take it personally. It won’t be you – sometimes they are just never happy no matter how hard you try. I’m sad about your cardigan. I know exactly what you mean! Have a lovely weekend xx

Ah thank you so much for the mention, we are still living in a new baby bubble!! I’d love to see Cinderella, but may have to wait for the movie to come out on DVD, I doubt my little miss would sit through it or like Jenny I’ll have to go on my own! The weather is pance here too – although I’m quiet happy sitting indoors now. Hope you have a better weekend and week ahead and put the bad week behind ye! I know how draining kids are!!xxx

I hope the weekend was calm with time for mum-daughter chats. Isn’t the music for Cinderella brilliant? Such a great film. Going to get myself that soundtrack soon. Hope you had a great time with friends over the bank holiday xx

Please don’t feel like a failure, our kids can be really tricky at times and I know you are trying your best. Noo was (and still can be) really hard work, especially when she had her violent meltdowns so I can relate for sure. Hope this week has been better for you in that respect xx

I totally get the cardi thing. I had a black Topshop card that I absolutely adored but when it had about 5 holes in and had faded to a very strange shade of grey I eventually had to get rid, I still miss it now nearly a year after it has gone.
Cinderella looks such an amazing film, I don’t think it would be O’s cup of tea just yet (he’s more into cartoon type films) but I can’t wait for it to come out on DVD so I can see it. Hope you had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend xxx
