Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat. Our last week of the summer holidays has been a busy one. Spending time with family over the bank holiday to two sleep overs! Its been a crazy few days and I am looking forward to relaxing over the weekend before the busy school schedule starts! Here is what I have been loving this week

I started The Unmumsy Mum. I am loving it and am finding it absolutely hilarious. I have mainly been reading it in the car on a few trips and have found myself laughing out loud much to Mr B’s annoyance!

This week we were invited to a friends house who has a swimming pool in their back garden. I didn’t think G or even H would actually go in but they did and they loved every minute of it. They played so nicely together and G was in her element, jumping in and swimming up and down. I was a bit worried that I wouldn’t actually be going in because H isn’t a swimmer yet, but with a Zoggs jacket on he had a blast. G took care of him and was even catching him when he jumped in! I made sure I was at the sidelines watching them both like a hawk though! G now wants a swimming pool in her back garden! {If only!!}

I heard this week Netflix are re-creating one of my all time favourite programmes, Anne Of Green Gables. Its a program I watch when I am ill and it reminds me of my mum as she watched it when I was younger. I am not sure what the new re-make will be like but I am so looking forward to it being released to find out! I managed to catch a re-make of it this week on ITV3 but am yet to finish it.

Again not much of interest this week! BUT I did wear the biggest smile when I found out my operation was a success and the mole they removed was benign. The last few weeks have been a tad stressful with the underlying worry that this mole they found could or would be a melanoma. Thankfully all was ok and I don’t have to go in for any more surgery {for now!} The constant worry is not nice but I am so grateful I am being checked every 3 months and they are taking precautions in whipping moles of quickly.

This week I hosted a MACMILLAN Coffee Morning. I wanted to do do something to raise some money and thought it would be ideal to invite some friends over, eat cake, have a natter and raise some pennies for a great charity. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos as I completely forgot but I made a Raspberry Victoria sponge, Chocolate Sponge cake, Fridge Cake and I cheated with the cupcakes  and bought them in as I am useless at decorating them. I got some lovely comments on my baking skills!

‘And lastly..’

I have two more days with G and H. I won’t lie I am looking forward to them going back to school, not in a horrible way, I am just looking forward to having a routine back. I like routine and although its nice to break it occasionally I think six weeks of not being in one has tested me. I am going to miss them like crazy when they do go back though. This six weeks has been a blast and I have so enjoyed spending time with Mr B and the kids. Give it a week and I will be on countdown for October half term!

Tonight G and H are having one last sleepover with Nanny and Grandad and then we have a pretty chilled weekend as Mr B is working.

Have a lovely weekend!

    Sounds like your coffee morning was a success! So many cakes! I also like routine, so whilst I know I will miss my little dude when I head back to work – I know that the time I spend with him will be more precious. Enjoy your weekend! xx
