Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat. I cannot believe how quickly this week has gone. I tweeted Morgana yesterday saying I couldn’t believe it was Thursday and that I really should get my act together and get my post scheduled!

This week we are back in the school routine and so far so good, its gone well and we have eased ourself back in. Tomorrow I am declaring it a pyjama day as Mr B is working and we have no plans this weekend. I need {and so do G and H} a chill day. I had forgotten how tiring this school business is! Without too much waffling here is what I have been loving this week..

I am still reading the Unmumsy Mum and I am still loving it. I was stopped at the hospital yesterday and was asked if it was any good, there was me giving a whole low-down and review of the book. I think I persuaded the nurse to go and buy a copy!

Lots!! I started a new series called The Night Of {Sky Atlantic} I was glued from the offset and I am so eager to continue with the series! If you like Murder cases then you should really give it a go!

Bake off this week was watched in two parts as I was so tired I was falling asleep! I was not enthralled with the episode I prefer when its cakes being made!!

Still on the food subject I have thrown myself into watching Masterchef Australia. My sister got me hooked last year and I have been watching it every day! Its sometimes quite hard to keep on top of the episodes, if you fall behind its always really hard to catch back up! But so far so good and I am currently really enjoying this season.

I have yet to watch it but Our Girl is back! Yay!!! I loved everything about the first series and I am hoping this series lives up to the first. I have purposely saved it to watch today!

This is the Our Girl promo song and I have had it on alot this week. Something about it makes me want to listen to it over and over. Some songs just do that I guess…

I wish the weather would make up its mind, we are in the in-between stage of summer and autumn and I love the cooler days, but this week, we have yet again had a mini heatwave with temperatures reaching 28°! I have had to dig out some summer tops. Apparently we are expecting the hottest autumn this year in so many years!

I made a roast dinner for the first time in ages on Sunday. I find that when I cook a roast I am not overly hungry by the time its cooked. But this week I did smaller portions and some beef {rather than chicken} I was pleasantly surprised that by the time it came round to eating I was actually really hungry! Both G and H polished the lot off. This week I have managed to get a pre-prepared lamb joint, I am rather looking forward to that!

‘And lastly..’

We are at a standstill with out home makeover as we are still waiting on our plasterer. Its been really hard to pin him down but hopefully we have a date on the calendar for him to come and plaster the lounge and three bedrooms! I am currently looking at wallpaper for G and H’s room! Its exciting planning things and seeing your ideas finally happening.

Have a lovely weekend!

This weather is driving me mad too, I still don’t fit into all my clothes so it’s hard to find a)something that fits and b)something that can be both cool and warm depending on how the weather changes. Make your mind up!!! xx
