Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat. Its slightly different this week {and for the next few} as Morgana is taking a well earned break. I have decided to continue with the posts as I really enjoy writing them up and reflecting on my week. Morgana will be back on the 25th August if you want to link back up with her.

Its been a very busy week here. I have made the most of the glorious weather! Yes the sun has come back out to play and the weather has been beautiful this week. We have spent most of the week out and about visiting friends and making trips to the coast. Picnics have been our go-to lunch and I am sorry to say goodbye to this week as its been so lovely.

Without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

Again I have slacked on reading this week. I go through moments where I can be glued to a book and then I can not pick one up in weeks. I have a huge pile I want to read and I just feel like I have no time at the moment. By the time bedtime rolls around I am so tired, all I want to do is sleep. I always tend to read a lot more when G and H are at school as I often take a book with me for the school pick-up!

Right, I have watched three completely mind blowing programmes this read *please read that with sarcasm* First up, Botched. I binged watched the series that is currently showing on TLC. This programme is quite addictive and I am always so interested to see the final result. Some are just horrendous botched work and most definitely need the work to fix it, but others are just all about being bigger and better, which quite frankly is never a good look!

Secondly, I watched a programme whilst cooking dinner this week and I fell into it, I personally wouldn’t recommend it as I find myself screaming at how self centred these people are {one in particular}. I came across it on ITVBe and its called Yummie Mummies. Its a reality TV programme about 4 Australian rich pregnant women. I watched the first episode to see how the other half live, I ended up watching all three episode available online and I am flabbergasted that people are actually like that!

Thirdly I watched Body Fixers. If you watched Tattoo Fixers then you will know the setup of the programme. Its basically people who have an issue with their bodies from being too pale, to wanting to tone down the drag look. Again, its trashy TV at its best. Not a patch on the original format Tattoo Fixers, but when you have nothing to watch whilst getting dinner ready, it passes the time!

We have had a lovely week, and both G and H have been really well behaved, Its not to say I have not heard a lot of bickering. G’s favourite thing at the moment is to wind H up. Which results in a few arguments and “She did this” or “He did that”. Sometimes I wish I could bury my head and not have to deal with the sibling arguments!

I managed to whip out the summer clothes again. The weather has been really up and down over the past few weeks and this week we had such a lovely spell of beautiful sunshine. I have mostly been in dresses. Its been so nice to not to have to wrap up.

One thing I love about summer is being able to get your feet out. After they have been wrapped up in socks all winter its good to get the summer air to them. I hate my feet with a passion, but I do love painting my toes. I am currently loving this Barry M nail varnish, colour Sprint Finish. Its a deep purple and goes on so smoothly.

Last weekend I picked something up I have not picked up in months {possible a year!} I go through moments where I will Crochet non-stop for weeks and then I have a break. Its been well overdue but I continued with my chevron blanket and I could not be happier about it. I miss taking the time out to have some me time and doing things that make me happy. Crochet definitely makes me happy.

Last week G and H spent the morning making Fairy Cakes. We had a day where we wasn’t particulay busy. I decided to get all the ingredients together and let them take control. It took some self control on my part to let them loose, but they came out really well and they were rather tasty! I have two eager bakers on my hands. Unfortunately no photos were taken as they really didn’t last long once out of the oven and decorated!

Like last week, we have a very busy week ahead of us. This weekend G and H are staying at my mums. Mr B and I are up early to do a boot sale. We have so many old toys that we need to get rid of. Any money made we agreed we would give to G and H. Monday we have set aside to get all the school uniform shop done. Not too sure how the kids will take to being dragged round the shops! BUT if they behave then they can spend there earnings from the boot sale. We have a few play dates and a day out at the beach. The weather is looking like its going to be lovely so we are definitely going to make the most of it!

On another note:

I have started a weekly Mini-Series called For The Love Of, I know a few people have read it and said they like the idea of it being a linky!  If you would like to share with me what you have been enjoying, next weeks topic is Vlogs, just pick three channels your loving this month and write a brief description about it. I am always looking for new Youtube channels to watch, so if you want to join in you can! The topics change weekly from Vlogs, Blogs, Instagram and TV.. If its your thing I would love to see you link up!

What ever your up to, have a wonderful weekend!

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,

  • You have summer back? Can you send it my way? It keeps raining! Love your blanket! My attempts at crochet were so horrendous I gave up a few years ago now. I did find it kind of relaxing though, just wish it didn’t looks like my 5 year old had had an argument with a ball of wool though! Have a great weekend and good luck with the uniform shopping! x

    • Not sure how long the sun will last! Hopefully the rest of the holidays! Weirdly I’m looking forward to getting the uniform shop done, I’m past stressing about it! Haha
