Slow Cooker Dinners, Trashy Mags, Garden Centres | Little Loves 10/52

I have not stopped this week. I have been out practically everyday and today is the first day I get to come home after the school run and throw myself on the sofa and catch up on some much needed TV. My planner is full to the brim and I wouldn’t be lying if I said I was secretly looking forward to it lazying on the sofa! Without too much waffling though, here is what I have been loving on this very busy week of mine!

I have not had much time to read anything this week if I am honest. I have been reading with G and H and I may of bought some trashy magazines to indulge in yesterday. Its definitely a guilty pleasure of mine! I need to get myself into gear and read a novel!

Last week I spoke about wanting to watch One Child {BBC} I manage to catch it one evening and to be honest it didn’t have me. It may of been because I was tired so I have left it on my planner for another day.

I am still on my Walking Dead/Sons Of Anarchy/Greys Anatomy/How To Get Away With Murder binge..

Last week G had her school assembly so I proudly watched her from the back of the hall.

I am obsessed with Sia.. So much so I have trawled the internet to see what she actually looks like! Anyway, I have been listening to this a lot.. Slightly odd video, but great song.. Elastic Heart has also been played a lot this week too {again strange video!}

Nothing out of the ordinary. I literally live in jeans and jumpers of some kind at the moment. I cannot wait for the warmer weather, just so I don’t have to wear my big bulky coat! My trusty hat has been a godsend this week, especially with the cold mornings, its kept my ears nice and toasty {I hate cold ears!}

This weeks dinners have consisted of slow cooker meals. There is something about winter warmers that I love. Sausage Casseroles, Beef Stews, Shepherds Pie.. So easy to just put them all in the slow cooker and forget about. I have found a new found love for shepherds pie and although its not Mr B’s favourite he does always compliment it after. Its my dinner for tonight I am rather looking forward to it!

‘And lastly..’

Spring seems to be in the air and its my favourite time of year {summer being second} This week we had a little ponder around the garden centre and came away with some new plants and planters for the garden. We spent the afternoon {wrapped up} in the garden and it was lovely to be outside and making it a little tidier. We have a few changes we want to make to the garden even though we only completed it last year. The pathway seems to have sunk, so that needs replacing and we need to re-do the turf as it seemed to have died over the winter. Its exciting having a little project, I just wish it was the house we were starting on!

Have a lovely week!

    I love a magazine too! I have to hide them as I buy so many!! They are just so easy to dip in and out of.
    We have been to the garden centre this week as well, I love all the spring flowers and containers. I can’t wait to get back out in the garden again.
    Have a great week.

    I’m looking forward to getting back in my garden too but it is currently snowing here! Loving Grey’s anatomy at the moment. Your slow cooker meals sound perfect for this weather.

      We have had no snow thankfully! As much as I like it I really don’t want any! It either has to be deep enough to close the schools so I don’t have to drive or a drizzle where it doesn’t settle!

    I can’t wait for Spring to properly kick in, definitely had enough of the winter weather now. I love those days when you can laze about on the couch all day. My husband hates them and never knows what to do with himself but I can lose hours doing absolutely nothing. I should rate it as one of my skills! Have a fab week. Xxx

    I can’t wait to get into my garden and add some colour to it. I really want to get a slow cooker would make my evenings cooking dinner after work so much easier. Glad you had a good week.

    Nothing wrong with a trashy magazine! I’m addicted, although I read them on Readly now so no one can see the extent of my addiction ha ha! I haven’t been to a garden centre in ages! I kill every plant that comes within a 100 mile radius of me. My mum bought me two plants the other day and I’m sure they already look like they’re on the way out! Have a great week x

      I’m not too sure I am any good at keeping plants alive either.. Will have to see! The telling tale will be of they come back and flower next year! xx

    You cannot beat winter warmer comfort food, especially recently! We’ve been having a lot of bakes and stews -yum!
    I love Sia’s voice. I remember when she did guest vocals for Zero 7 years and years ago – back in the day when she showed her face 😉
    Hope you’ve had a good week this week xx
