Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and that’s a Little Love round-up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat, and it also means its half term!

Today marks the day we break up for a weeks holiday. I am super duper excited as we are actually going away and it could not have come at a better time. This month has been pretty full on and I am still struggling to juggle work, blogging, life and parenting! I have yet again been so slack on blogging and I am really wondering if its something I want to continue with. Im struggling with the whole social ,media side and I cannot find a good balance.

When I saw Morgana tweet yesterday, I knew I had to get back on the saddle as they say and join in. Its no secret I adore this linky. I love reading what everyones #littleloves are and now, its a monthly posts, hopefully it will be a lot easier to keep up to date with, as the lsat few times I linked up I was pretty sick with!

Without too much waffling, here are the little things I have been loving.

I was so good throughout March and April with my reading. This month I have been terrible! I am still reading Friend Request by Laura Marshall. I have to admit, I read the first few chapters and then forgot about it. When I did the school pick up yesterday I took it with me and read a few chapters. Its definitely coming away on holiday with me!

I am fully up to date with Suits! I managed to binge watch season 7 last week and I am all emotional Mike and Rachel will not grace the Specter/Litt offices anymore! It is such a good series and definitely one to watch if you haven’t already!

I started Safe {Netflix}  This eight-part drama follows Tom, a grieving widower who is thrust into action when his eldest daughter mysteriously disappears from their seemingly idyllic gated community. I am really enjoying it, I think I am half way through. Its based on a Harlen Coben novel.

We had a movie afternoon last weekend and we all watched The Greatest Showman. When I took Gracie to watch it, Henry went with his dad to watch Black Panther. So it was nice for them to enjoy the movie and see what all the fuss was about!

I know this is a cover, but I love this version. I love Paloma and I don’t think she can do no wrong. Been listening to this a lot. It also takes me back to those days I was obsessed with Lost! Which was the weirdest program ever!

Ok, the weather has been so bloody lovely this past month. I have been making the most of the summer wear. Shorts, dresses, skirts, sandals, you name it, Ive worn it. I’s also wearing a new hairstyle. I had a major accident with the hairdryer and managed to burn half my hair! I have no idea, how or why, but yep it happened and I needed it sorting. Its just been tidied up, and spruced up. A bit shorter than I would of liked, but It looks a lot better than the burnt nest that I was previously rocking!
Fleur also went for the chop. She was really struggling with all her fur in the heat. We decided she needed quite a bit taken off and she looks so much better for it. Now you can see her eyes, which before she had some massive floppy fringe which covered them. She could barely see!

This week I made a chocolate cake. It didn’t hang around long enough for photos unfortunately! I am also looking into making Henrys birthday cake. He will be 7 in just a few shorts weeks.  He is Minecraft mad, so I want to incorporate that. Pinterest has some great ideas, I am just hoping I pull it off and he likes it!

A few weeks ago it was my sisters birthday and we buy each other a little token gift. I was really unsure what to get. A few months ago in Asda I saw this gorgeous unicorn teapot, and because she is loving having tea out of a teapot I thought I would get her it. I bailed at the last minute though as I just wasn’t sure she would like it. On her birthday I showed her what she could of got and she actually took me by surprise and said she loved it! So she went and bought it herself. I then because I loved it so much I went and bought it too! It makes a rather lovely cup of tea!!

Whatever your up too, I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,

I also loved LOST! Although, it got so weird towards the end I didn’t finish it. I tried to watch Safe the other evening and just couldn’t get into it – lots of people talking about it so will definitely trying it again. I’m with you on the social media blogging bandwagon, I really struggle to keep up. I often wonder if my full time job just gets in the way. Maybe it would be easier if I was blogging full time? xx

I watched SAFE and it was really thrilling and I was hooked! Yeah I understand what you mean about blogging and keeping up with social media and all. You just have to trust the process though! It’s what they all say ☺️
