This week has been pretty intense for all the wrong reasons. I blogged about it here if you fancy catching up with my health situation. Its been a stressful week and I have had a terrible week sleep wise. I was at the hospital yet again this week for more electrode treatment on my scar and quite frankly  I am so happy its F R I-Y A Y! I am planning to relax this weekend and do nothing! {apart from visiting the in-laws on Sunday!} Here is what i have loved this week..

I have not read anything this week that jumps out to actually sing about. I have read the tragic news about  Turkey. It was awful to watch it play out on the TV.

G and H have been reading to me a lot this week. Its amazing how quickly H has progressed and it really amazes me that he can now read!

I finished The Disappearance that I mentioned last week. It was so good, and there were so many twists and turns. I really did not know how it was going to pan out! I honestly would say you have to watch it!

I am still addicted to Love Island! Its so trashy but its addictive viewing!

I am loving Rihanna at the moment and it doesn’t get any better when she teams up with Calvin Harris. This has been played quite a bit this week.

I have not worn these yet, but I made a cheeky Solillas purchase and an online buy from Yumi. I am addicted to Solillas and cannot quite get enough of them. They are so comfy and a must for the summer. Solillas_Menorcan_Sandals_Original_Navy_Blue_Suede_Leather_Oceano_Pair_Angle__12476-1.1459441115.700.900pair_angle_pedra__19639.1396920442.700.900 YOSK21B001_2

Last week I made a cake with G and H, nothing spectacular just a Victoria sponge. I had loads of ingredients left over from the disaster that was H’s birthday cake, so we decorated it with buttercream and hundreds of thousands. It was actually rather yummy!

I also cooked a roast dinner for the first time in months! I decided to buy a leg of lamb last week and I had my mum over for dinner on Tuesday so decided to cook it. Normally I cook a roast and by the time its cooked I am no longer hungry and just pick at it, but it was so lovely, the lamb was really succulent and I may even have to make one again next week!

‘And lastly..’

We have nothing planned this weekend apart from Sunday. I plan to have a lay in tomorrow and just take it easy. I need to start G’s homework as its due in next week! I always leave it to the last minute!

I saw this quote this week, and its summed up life at the moment for me, so very tough..

Have a lovely weekend!

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,
