PRISON BREAK, SIGN OF THE TIMES, EASTER THEMED BAKES | LITTLE LOVE 15/52

Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat.

It has been a full on week this week. We have been out and about making the most of the last week of the holidays. Unfortunately our Easter hols are coming to an end and come Tuesday G and H will be back at school. I love them being at home, but I always say that towards the end of the holidays they both need routine back! I’m going to miss them next week as its been such a lovely two weeks.

We have been busy with lots of days out. We went to the coast, bowling, crazy golf, park trips, visiting friends and family and G even managed to go to a sleepover. Its been pretty hectic but fun. I have also spent as much time in the garden this week. The weather has been so lovely. I love seeing the garden grow and I love seeing lots of new flowers popping up all over. There is a sense of achievement that you actually helped them grow! My Camellia being my most favourite plant at the moment, its gorgeous and perfect in every single way. Its amazing. {above picture}

I’ve been loving lots this week, without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

Read

I read some pretty terrible news this week about a new road being built. Its basically a junction coming of the M25 and cutting through all the gorgeous fields and linking up to a new tunnel which will go under the thames to kent. Thoroughly disappointed that the final say was this option and although it doesn’t affect me personally {other than the huge amounts of extra pollution!} I know people who it does effect and unfortunately it means wiping out a fair few houses along the way and loosing all those gorgeous green fields!

Watched

After a seven year wait Prison Break is back! Mr B and I absolutely loved this series and when it finished I mostly was gutted. I was so upset at the outcome as quite frankly I wanted Micheal and Sarah to live happily ever after, but it wasnt meant to be, or is it? We have watched the first episode of the new season this week and I am thrown into the series like it never finished. I’m so glad most of the original cast are back {I would of loved to have seen “Mahone” but he didn’t sign up for the new series!} I cannot wait for next weeks episode! Who else watched it?

Heard

Yep I am one of those people that is rather liking Harry Styles new single “Sign Of The Times” I heard it yesterday and I actually cannot stop listening to it! I think out of all the 1D boys he definitely has the nicer solo voice. There is also a Bowie sound to this single, am I wrong in thinking that?

Wore

Nothing to shout about. I really do struggle with this one sometimes as my normal mum attire is Jeans and some sort of top!

Made

I made the most amazing Brownie this week. I decided to make some easter themed bakes this week and this was a huge hit. It was so moist and tasted amazing warm! Recipe is coming up over the weekend so keep an eye out!

I also made some Marshmallow Rice Krispie cakes and what a complete disaster! I used to love these when I was a child and quite frankly they did not taste how I remembered!

And lastly..

We have a busy weekend. Mr B is going to finish laying the flooring which was started last week. Unfortunately he was unable to complete it before he went back to work. We are also out Saturday evening for an Easter curry at my sister-in-laws. Sunday we are in all day and I am am going to cook a roast lamb dinner and then on Monday I finally get to see Beauty and The Beast! Yippppeeeeee!

What ever your up to, have a wonderful weekend and have a very lovely Easter!

I feel your pain over a new motorway junction. It is highly likely that a new junction will be built about a minute from where we live. And whilst it won’t wipe out any fields, I just don’t see the point of it as we have 2 junctions less than 5 minutes away (sigh). Those brownies look delicious. Have a lovely Easter weekend #littleloves x

Its terrible isn’t it, there were three options with this new road and they had to pick the worst one!

Creme Egg brownies?! Amazing! My husband has watched the entire Prison Break series twice, but hasn’t started the new one yet. I think he likes to have a couple to watch in one go. Enjoy your Easter weekend xx

Ha ha I’d love to know what keeping a plant alive feels like – never happened to me before! The Dartford tunnel used to be the bane of my life when I lived near there. So glad I’m not in down that way, or near the proposed new tunnel route, anymore! I thought the Harry Stiles single sounded like someone else but I couldn’t put my finger on it – think you may be onto something. Those brownies look amazing, I seriously need to get my bake on in the next few days! Enjoy the rest of the bank holiday x

I absolutely love Harry’s new song and it definitely has a familiar sound to it doesn’t it? Reminds me so much of the Bowie era..

Definitely sickly, you can only manage one brownie at a time! Normally I would go for seconds but one was just enough!
