Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat.

This week has been a strange week. I have managed to get back into the school routine no problems but the bedtime routine has well and truly gone out the window. I am really struggling to get back into any kind of schedule and find myself up and down the stairs to try and settle G and H. Its hard and I was loosing the will to live mid week!  I have been loving lots of things this week though, so without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

G and H have been reading to me this week. I have not really picked up my book, only in the car at pick up whilst I am waiting for the school bell to go. H has struggled to get back into reading and I find myself pushing him to do it. He is constantly distracted and I think he does so much at school now he is in year one when he gets home he really doesn’t want to do more work! G has been no problem {apart from one day when she really didn’t want to read!}

I am re-watching Orange Is The New Black. I have watched the first few seasons and went to watch the new one on Netflix and I was completely lost! I have managed to watch half of season one already so I am making progress quickly.

We are also playing catch up on Ray Donavon, we are so behind on season four. So far the season is not disappointing us.

My favourite programme re-satrtedlast night.. Greys Anatomy I am hoping its not long before it airs in the UK as I have been waiting all year to see what happens! How To Get Away With Murder is also back on stateside, another good programme. If you have not seen it, its available on Netflix and its VERY good.

Did anyone watch One Of Us on BBC?? How good was the finale!!?? I was not expecting it to end the way it did and was totally shocked with the outcome!

I heard lots of talk about the MAD blog awards and I am so pleased that Katie from mummydaddyme won the photography award, which is so very well deserved and also the lovely Jenny and a fellow Little Lover from Lets Talk Mommy won Best School Days Blog! Again such a well deserved award. Congratulations lovely ladies!!

As we were watching Ray this week I heard this.. Live Schreiber singing We’ve Got Tonight {I am guessing he didn’t sing the whole version! He may of done!?} This man can do no wrong…

After weeks months I have finally dug out my trainers and dusted them off. I have wanted to go for some time now and with a little push from a friend I finally did it. I started running a few years ago and then I gave up due to knee problems which I am hoping won’t happen again as I am not going for it like I did last time! I went for a run on Tuesday and I was out for 40 minutes. I felt really good after and on Thursday I went again. This time I did the same route but halved the running time. I was pretty impressed with myself as I didn’t stop as often as I did previously! I ache now so I am going to rest for a few days and maybe go out again Saturday. I have a running date on Monday evening with a friend which I think will be great as I need the push sometimes to not stop!

I got out my crochet hook this week. I have not picked up my blanket in months as its just been to hot to have balls of wool and blankets on you. I sat and hooked away on Tuesday morning and I forgot how much I missed it. It always takes me so long to make things as I just have loads of breaks in-between but its made a firm fixture of my nighttime TV watching. I doubt it will be finished by winter {maybe next winter!!}

‘And lastly..’

We have a weekend dedicated to homework! Its going to be pretty crazy and I am sure tears will be shed {probably from me!} Both G and H have quite a bit to do and with them being the complete opposite of subjects, WW2 and Toys, I decided to split up the task! Mr B will take G and concentrate on her WW2 homework and I will take H and help with his Toys homework, not sure who got the better deal?! Tweet me Sunday to find out!

Have a lovely weekend!

    Well done for getting back into running! I find exercise such a stress reliever and feel so much better afterwards (well, that is until the aches and pains set in!!)
    The One of Us finale was brilliant, I wasn’t expecting that ending at all. It’s so good to have proper drama back on TV.
    Have a lovely weekend, hope the homework it’s too traumatic for all involved 😉 xx

    I totally understand re-watching OITNB – sometimes the period of time between each season is so vast that all the details vanish from mind! I need to check out How To Get Away With Murder; I’ve heard so much about it!

    It’s great that you’re getting back in to running, and the mind set you’re going back in to it with. Enjoy!!

    Love the crochet. G doesn’t want to do work at night so we have a routine in the morning now where Mr H has 30 mins of homework each day. It’s working really well. Have a nice weekend x #littleloves

      Thank you K-A.. I used to read and do spellings in the morning with G but now H needs to do it too, it just doesn’t work for us.. I feel panicked and rushed to get out the door!

    I’ve not got round to finishing OITNB yet, shock horror! I am so flighty when it comes to TV – I never really watch it. My mind never shuts off and I constantly think about what else I could be doing! That blanket looks amazing, so clever (and patient!) Enjoy your weekend! #LittleLoves

      Thank you, I find crochet quite relaxing so when I do finally get back into it, it calms me and the pattern works really quickly!

    Oh babes thank you so much for the mention and your amazing lovely beautiful words. You have truly made my whole weekend. And speaking of talent look at your skills that blanket is beautiful. Love love that watch so jealous. I am so so far behind on Ray Donovan too. Eek like season 2 I think. I am in the middle of Vampire Diaries a show I never ever expected to take over my life. lol I need to get back to reading though I have truly let that go. We have the whole bedtime routine problem too. My kids are constantly shouting it’s still sunny out and we aren’t tired which they normally never do. It’s constant up and down the stairs but we kept working hard to stick to our guns and this week was so much easier than the last two back to normal. Hope you have had a lovely weekend. #littleloves

      I am hoping we get back into some kind of routine soon as I am not liking the bedtime routines at the moment!
