Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat.

What a week! Its been full of sickness and flu {yes flu!} It started on Sunday when H was sick. It soon quickly turned into a cold which I was ok with. By Tuesday he couldn’t get out of bed and he was basically in bed for two days straight. His temperature would not come down and he was really quite poorly. Today is the first day he has been semi-chirpy. Its been awful and I really didn’t want to admit it and get on the flu bandwagon, but I honesty think he had this god-awful flu that has quickly spread over the UK. Luckily we have managed to cope with it at home. He has been off school all week and has not sniffed any air since Sunday! I am hoping we have now turned a corner and he is on the mend!

With all this going on, I have taken snippets of the week that I have really enjoyed, so without to much waffling, here are the little things I have been loving.

I have been keeping to my goal and have been reading quite a bit this week. Not books, but blogs, that still counts! I’ve read two posts this week that really stood out. I absolutely loved Laura’s post over at Little Ladies Big World about how she loves the January slump. I  resonated with this post a lot, I used to hate January, but now I love the slower pace of a new year after a busy build up to December. Fritha over at Tigerlily Quinn wrote an extremely honest post about writing for a living when you are dyslexic and dyspraxic.

I put a collection of books on my bedside table to get through this month. I’ve been so tired though I have not started. I really need to get back into a routine of reading a book. I’ll admit I miss the feel of a paperback. I’ve two Liane Moriarty books I want to dive into. Hopefully I can start over the weekend!

Did anyone watch Next of Kin {ITV} this week? I was gripped form he start and was quite shocked at how much happened in the first episode! I’m really looking forward to episode two. What did you think? I also caught up with Girlfriends. I’m a bit disappointed by this series as I thought it would be a more “serious” programme, I’ve just not been that impressed. I caught up with a BBC2 documentary this week too Surgeons: At The Edge of Life. It was a really interesting watch and a fantastic insight. It’s amazing what surgeons can actually achieve.

I have a few things on my planner which I have not watched yet, McMafia {BBC} Kiri {C4} and The Truth about Looking Good {BBC} Have you watched any of these this week?

I have not really listened to anything this week.

Ive literally been stuck indoors all week. Only going out to drop G at school and to go shopping yesterday. Luckily Friends have rallied round whilst H has been poorly and have done the school pick up for me. It means that I have really not been wearing anything to shout about. In fact most days I have got home and joined H in his pj’s. Comfy is best! I have to admit, I am looking forward to actually wearing proper clothes again and staying in them all day!!

Last week I bought a new planner. I decided this was the year I would be a proper blogger and plan my content. I sat down on Monday and I planned January. All my ideas are now on paper and so far its working really well. I have scheduled quite a few posts already and I feel having a planner will work wonders. I adore this navy stripe. Its so lovely and it was a bargain price o £12 from Hobbycraft. Its really thick and chunky and has loads of space to jot down ideas.

I am not sure if you remember me mentioning quite sometime ago now, that when Fluer was a puppy I fell over her and smashed my brand new coffee table. It had a mirrored top and I was gutted that it had broke. Over the Christmas period Mr B and I were saying we really needed to do something with it. So we both got to work on creating something rather lovely. I am so impressed with the outcome and even more so that I helped create it. Rather chuffed I have my table back too!

I am really trying to push my Instagram and Twitter this year. I would love to meet my target I have set myself. If you are not following me, I would love it if you came and joined me on my journey. I am also using stories more on Instagram and I am really enjoying it.

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,

That coffee table is amazing! Gorgeous colours. Sorry to hear you’ve had a sick little one, I have too! I am wondering whether Parker had it, it was awful and he was so poorly. Love the new planner, I picked up some gorgeous planner stickers in Hobbycraft the other day. Need to plan my blog content more this year I think. Enjoy your weekend xx

Oh poor H being so poorly! I hope he’s better now.
Love your planner, I really need to get on with planning my content out. I’ve got the ideas I just need to get them down and work out when to schedule them. It feels so much better when you’re organised doesn’t it?
Your table and telephone are gorgeous. I’d love an old telephone like that but we don’t have a landline.. so that would be pretty pointless, haha! xx
